  1. Today I added a taunt spell to Intersect. Not worthy of making a new dev blog so I'll post it here. How it works vs npcs: Forces the target to be the caster and the npc will chase and attack you only how it works vs players: Forces the players target to be the caster and cannot be changed until the status is removed. The player can move freely though just can only attack the target that taunted them. (Reason for this behaviour is due to the amount of effort it would take to force the player to move that is anti-hackable thus isn't worth the time)

  8. You cant combine files. You can give your friend a copy of the client and editor and he can connect to your server to help edit the game. You may need to portforward if he cannot connect to your server.

  12. I personally would make the lift more like pokemon where you go to a seperate map and leave the map and arive at your floor destination. You can even select your floor using a multi select dialogue. Good tutorial and interesting use of the event editor though!
  13. Probably but nothing I did in that dev blog was technically on the roadmap. The roadmap is sorta like a todo list for us, so no point adding somthing to then just cross it out. I might add my changes later for clarity. (On mobile right now)

  18. I can see what I can do with taunting. Forcing players to attack a certain target is going to be tricky/very hard to do given how combat is currently handled so not worth the time at this point. So the easiest way around it is to only allow them to attack the target (unlike npc behaviour where its really easy to force them to attack a certain target). Let me know if you would like this behaviour as a status effect and I might implement it if I get enough requests.

  20. UPDATE: Added the option to set event switches and variables for all members of a party when interacting with events (for party related dungeons mostly). Added the ability to quick cast spells from items without learning the spell. Added item rarity (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary) all with separate coloured text. (This can be disabled by selecting rarity of "none")
  21. Yes and other spell types. Same as a combat spell just can do damage too.
  22. I would just personally make a hub out of preexisting tiles like any other map. Lets say you decide to change your map in a year or however long, its a lot hard to do by editing the image files than just editing the map slightly... No main advantage here personally. Unless you were copying maps from another game aka a pokemon clone just to save time and they would never change in the future.

    Debuffs

    Not in an event. You only can set debuffs currently via spells.
