  6. Hey everybody, I assume a lot of ya'll have played or actively play PUBG. We currently don't have a thread as far as I'm aware so I decided to make one where we can organise games with other members of AGD alongside posting our sweet sweet chicken dinners For all you guys who wanna organise games, I setup a discord channel with a couple of my close friends both IRL and online.   7. Very good. Its definately worth targeting. If you can get your characters into smash bros and a big name under the franchise you are golden. I have binding of Isaac on switch, a few indie games on their eshop but I would definitely look towards the cartridge route too. Nintendo encourage developers to use unity though.
  8. semi related but one of the reasons Nintendo is still thriving with the Switch (we are politely ignoring the wii u) as opposed to microsoft and sony where most of their titles can be played on pc (pc master race). There is not much demand for consoles these days however most of Nintendo's titles are only for Nintendo and thus give more traction to the console. Sure web services are totally kicking off but still a long way off.

  10. This. Just by doing a simple google search you can see how much of a market dominance windows OS' have: like literally just shy of 90%. Sure it may be a mess but not designing for it primarily is shooting yourself in the foot when it comes to potential consumers. I'd much rather developing for only windows than all the other OS' combined because of this sole fact. I'm not saying windows is the best here, I'm only talking about it from a target audience standpoint.

  12. That suggests your characters have 0 attack stats
  13. A players stats and weapon stats are calculated in damage calculation. Player stats scale with levels. However, base damage and damage scaling are replaced with weapon base damage and weapon damage scaling when equipped. The stuff in the class editor only applies for unarmed combat. Just simply make all weapons have 100% weapon scaling, 0 base dmg and give 0 stats if you want your damage to be solely from the class.
  14. I assume you are talking about Macks graphics. The official Intersect resources to be released with future iterations of Intersect were based after Macks graphics including tileset locations. You can try using these tiles and roughly 90% of your tiles will be converted but im not sure how accurate the translation between tileset locations is so you might have to make a few manual changes here and there. Anyway, here is our community driven graphics pack:

  16. You could do it with switches or even variables. I personally use labels and then jump to the label when you want to to go back up the dialog.
  17. If this was an issue I'm Fairly sure that i would flame the DBZ franchise for not having any black characters not the fan game. Funny either way :p

  20. The ratio of the dmg stat specified converted to dmg. So a 10% scaling amount for a sword would only take 10% of your characters total attack stat when calculating damage.

  22. Its because the bear cub has a lot of excess space on the sprite. If you filled in each frame a colour you would see that its exactly the same distance away just the bear does not fully fill the entire height of the frame unlike the human sprite.

  24. Nightmare has over 700 maps 300-400 of said maps are the over world all connected. Works perfectly fine as others have said but that is some sort of indicator that Intersects server can go much further than that. Theres also no limit to the total number of maps you can have in your game.
