Same answer again. Not enough comercial graphics available that support this.
-
The only 8 direction graphic sets im aware of that can be used comercially are the reiner tiles that @Ambard and @Agoraphobic used for Ambardia and Laberinth Hearts respectively.
-
Not gunna happen. Barely any free character sets support 8 directional movement frames. Projectiles move can already move diagonally so implementing 8 directional movement is half done for you

Looks really good honestly. Im glad to see you're going for a multi purpose traditional gaming console as oposed to running a single game. Looking good.

I want one now
-
I think he's asking how to do it. Click on a player and an option will apear saying add party.

Better watch that the claw doesn't sink in somewhere else :^)
-
Haha totally worth it tho
-
Looking forward for the release!

I actually really like this. Did you make the 3d models?
-
Looks clean bro

PVP already exists in this engine. You can set a map to be a safe zone or normal being where pvp can happen. We are adding an arena map type for 3.0

Pretty cool dood

Worth stating that these are copyrighted material.

I'm curious what those tiles are. Goodluck in your search though!

Where would I go to learn the most about C#?
Kibbelz replied to repgainer3's question in Development Questions
Following on from @Chronos and @SPQR Panda I have only been using c# for about half a year before Intersect. Fundamentally most programming languages are the same by general logic flow. Mainly its just syntax changes, libraries and what not. When learning a new language I generally have an end goal (in my case it was a project for University). I started by deciding what I need to start on and I then would google how to even make a function in C# (for syntax) then I would memorise how to do it and use it later on. How I perceive learning a new language is gaining knowledge as you construct your project. I would highly advise against doing this if this is your first ever language but if you're a competent programmer thats how I usually advise transferring languages. Even now I still occasionally google search how to do something specific in C#, there is no "mastery" of any modern language since its so diverse. -
Pretty slick and basic looking. Consistent color theme I like it, I just dislike the green background on the images on the bottom right corner. I don't think they fit the color scheme. Make them a dark brown for consistency. Off topic: I like the tilesets, but they seem to be all from different sources. Not too sure they mesh well C:

It looks really good but so much work for one map to maintain the same quality. You'll also have to render tree tops in that scene as a fringe layer in the engine.
-
@raeven is the only user im aware of who has got results from a painted map method. I believe he does it by painting objects and drawing them ontop of a ground texture. Im not a fan of a painted style myself and i think the advantage of tiles massively outweigh painting but each to their own check out his game here: Goodluck!

And also you can assign random or static movement paths.
-
Intersect can.

TLDR @daviih123 you're dealing with such low attack on the bat the system is designed to always do SOME damage no matter how small. Once you start working with persay 20 strength instead of 5 and then increase defence from there, you will see the damage output decrease. You're working with small numbers and the system is always going to do at least 1 damage so thats why you're not noticing anything.

Not too sure i like the random transparent circles around the character icon and vitals HUD. I really dislike the giant options and exit sign. I think making them all the same size in a 3x2 grid would look much nicer. Best of luck!
