I honestly think that the game variables are very important, so many issues have come up because of not having the source, I'm not complaining, I get that he want's the code to be perfect when he releases it, but I don't see why trusted developers on the site can't have access to it. I would honestly help perfect it, and the games that these developers are working on.

I'd like to have access to these variables so that I could change the power system for one, I'd like to make more modes for admin, and set different permissions for them, or I could completely change the HP system, to a more efficient system, running by higher numbers, hidden with no health number on screen, that actually would help to make PVP and game fighting more difficult.
  4. Woah woah wait, we're not allowed to access the engine variables?!??! Isn't that kind of important?
  5. Okay, so obviously, since there is a health bar, there must be a Health Variable, and so on for the other stats, my question is, what are the words that references those variables, like, can I get a list of all of the player stat variables?

  7. My basic question is, where in the intersect game engine am I able to edit and learn about the event system? You can read the rest if you need elaboration, but the rest is quite long, and it just explains what I just said. Okay, so I have a basic understanding of what the Event System is, and what it does, correct me if I'm wrong, but what I believe to be true is that it is the "cause and effect" system of the engine, the determining system of "Effects", or "Events", to happen based on "Causes", or "Input". I will elaborate on this if asked, but I'm not 100% certain what I think is true, however, with this in mind, my question is not, "What is the event system?" or, "How do I use it?", my question is simple, where do I go to quickly obtain the MOST possible knowledge, based on EXPERIENCE, about the event system, what I mean by this is, I don't want a link talking about how to use it, and I don't need one, I am a very hands on learner, give me a string and I'll weave it into a blanket on my own; however, give me a blanket, and a few paragraphs about how to make that blanket, and I'll be lost for hours. So, to elaborate on the final question, I have the intersect game engine on my computer right now, I have the files, and I can access the client, editor, and server just fine, where in those category's(Intersect Files,Client,Server, and Editor) do I go to start using, and learning for myself how to use the Event System? Heh, sorry for being a bit picky, but all I need, when It comes down to it is what can I do to start using the event system? That will give me the most information about it.

Hey, so I just had this amazing dream about a game idea that will help me better understand the new engine so that I can help out Ambard with Ambardia Reborn better, and to just have a few laughs about, so here's what I'm thinking, Ground and Fringe2 will be blocked layers, but Mask1, Mask2, and Fringe1 will all be layers that players can edit, reason being is because the game idea was that there are 1000 maps, all with different terrain, and the terrain is on Mask1 and Mask2, so that players can dig, and the point of the game is PVP, when the game starts, all maps are PVP enabled, but later, players can make safe spots, towns, or cities, all of their own creation, and set those maps to PVP disabled, I have a few more ideas, but I don't want too many answers right now, so can I make only a few layers editable by players? Or any layers?

  11. Oh, I found out my problem, when i first started the server, it asked me something, and I was talking with Ambard at the time, so I didn't pay much attention to it, I just re-installed it to figure out that, that thing I ignored was the option to allow the server access to run lol.

So I have the current version of Intersect, and whenever I start up the server it tells me there's an error, I've really got to get cramming on how to use this game engine coding wise, so if I can't even get the server to run, I've got an issue, here's the error logs, can someone help me please?   13. @PhenomenalDev Even if i did that, lol which i wouldn't, the files are mostly still labeled something along the lines of "Virus File1" or "Virus Folder 2" I would have to change A LOT of lines of code to change the names of these folders and files and have it still work lol.
