  1. Today's update is a little different. Recently, the Ruinic team picked up an absolutely fantastic composer who is going to be working on a various musical pieces for the game. He's already started on the first one for the starting town, which I think sounds pretty great. You can listen to a sample of it below.

  3. @Zoagel More than likely will have to wait for open source to add that feature, they have more important debugging and development road maps to conquer before going to adding wanted features. Take a gander at the road map to have a better idea what to expect in upcoming beta and finalized product releases will have in-store for you.

  4. Replace Fonts/Adding Font Characters in Intersect! Date: Oct. 2nd 2019 Guide written for Intersect Beta 6+ Summary: This guide will show you how to re-generate the fonts (.xnb) files distributed with the Intersect engine. This will allow you to change the font, some styling options and add/remove characters from in-game fonts. This guide only covers the client not the editor or server. Requirements: Before getting started you should visit http://www.monogame.net/downloads/ and download/install the MonoGame 3.7 (as of Beta 6) package. This should install tools on your computer that are required to generate the new font files. I /recommend/ that you download and install Notepad++. You will need a good text editor for this guide. I use Notepad++ on a daily basis and it is really good software. Other software like vim and even standard notepad should work but I make no guarantees. The source files you will need can be found in the sources branch of the Intersect Assets repo. Download Zip. Table Of Contents: 1. Download/Open the Content Pipeline 1.1 Download the Content Pipeline 1.2 Open the Content Pipeline 1.3 Content Pipeline Layout 2. 11. Encryption will stop any happy go lucky "game dev" that wants to rip your graphics to use them in some half-ass project. Life Forge ORPG uses a very powerful encryption system, and 3 members from AGD alone were able to get access to our graphics when they set their minds to it. However, these members are far more advanced and competent than the mentioned "happy-go-lucky". The end result? You'll never be able to 100% protect your graphics. You WILL be able to stop most everyone stupid enough to try and steal your graphics and get away with it.

help - how to add tilesets?

Adding tilesets is pretty simple. Simply locate the graphics folder in the client/editor folder and inside should be a folder called tilesets. Just put your .png tileset images inside the tilesets folder and they should be ready to be used in your client/editor.

  13. That's basically it. This is very standard for MonoGame projects. I referenced this stackoverflow post when making this one - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13243130/how-to-draw-special-characters-in-xna With this you can go as far as adding non-latin characters to your games. You can change the font-faces (but don't rename the files, they are hard coded for now) and you can change font sizes. After multi-language support is in and the source is released you will be able to take this a few steps further but that is a guide for another day.
