Sharing my own made sprites

hello, ive been a silent reader on this forum for a while and finally decided to come surface. im sharing my own sprites and intend to update this post weekly (reality can hurt ) with new sprites. the sprites are created by me, i got passion in making animated sprites lately and i want to keep practicing my spriting skill.

so for the first sprite i share, its kinda mix of worm and rose or whatever you called it. its far from good, im still practicing. hope this useful.

im not that good, it just pillow shading, this style of shading ignoring the light source direction.

i think the color too dark, i noticed after comparing it with common rpg maker sprites.

trust me, im not good either. my sprite still looks "amateur" comparing any rpg sprites these days.

Even so your pillow shading is better then mine man! I struggle a lot when it comes to art! Great job!

i agree. only slight movement made to make  the animation frame. i'll try to make the animation more obvious next time.

trial and error basically. if i dont feel satisfied with some part, i redid it.

thats a good idea, ive rarely (or never) seen any jellyfish sprite. i'll keep that suggestion in mind

It looks good. But I recommend you use more hue shifting. Your color ramps will look nicer, and the lighting will be more pronounced:
