  3. yea, but im assuming blocked attribute is what hes using to keep the player on the ground and not just floating all over the map. So how would player attack a bird who was flying above him say 5 tiles away?

  6. One of the first tilesets I ever made. If you notices there is no shading or depth to anything, all flat. Also if you look closeley, water, grass, dirt, tree leaves, cliffs all share the same exact texture just recolored. lol

  11. Actually I just tried the common events and i don't believe they are finished..
  12. If you make a common event with no trigger selected. Then add a normal event to your map with the trigger you want. Just call the common event in that event. You should be able to use this method to make the same event over and over again throughout your game. Rather then recreating it each time.

    Thanks to intersects great events system, Pestilence now has automatically opening house doors, destroy-able, barrels, boxes, crates and a jail system if you choose to break the law within certain zones.
  14. These are very useful. Makes it very easy to create our own Welcome and login messages using the common event editor. Thanks JC! Here is a screenshot of what I put together. Only took me two minutes using your commands and the chat-box text option in the common event system. Its easy to replicate the old eclipse login messages.

  17. Its an easy built in way to create gathering skills. You have a required tool to gather the resource, such as a fishing pole to obtain fish. The Resource gets a set health. The player attacks it until the health is depleted, when this happens the player receives a set item. In this instance the player would receive a fish.
  18. Yes each square is 32x32 pixels.
  19. If you open your world map in photoshop you can adjust the image size by percentage. If you type in ten percent in photoshop it will scale it down to ten percent of the original image size. This is what I have been doing.
  20. If you are speaking of the intersect engine it is now alpha layers. This means you would have to open your tileset in an image editor such as photoshop and remove all of the color that is there. Whatever color it is, and make it transparent and then export your tileset as a .png. If your speaking of an eclipse/mirage based engine then refer to nates response.
  21. I think he is referring to the exporting time of screenshots from the content editor. Because of the vastness of his world he is experiencing very slow export times or possibly program freezing. He also said opening the world screenshot on his computer was also a problem. He is not referring to in game lag or anything of that sort.
  22. Or maybe create an option to save and screenshot world maps at like -50% zoom, or other choices. Then we would be exporting smaller sized images, currently intersect exports the game world at 100%
  23. Hi. Welcome to AGD! Mobile/Cross Platform is a very good possibility for the future of intersect but is for sure a ways down the road. The Engine is Mono Compatible. This is copied from the website: "The Intersect client is powered by MonoGame. The server is mono compatible. In the future you can look forward to the possibility to deploying your game across across many platforms including Mac, Linux, mobile devices and consoles." Even if it does not happen soon, its a GREAT engine for a console MMORPG and you could easily get your game Green lit or featured somewhere with the power and features of intersect.

    Working on One of the first Plague infested towns in the game! This might be the new user starting zone as well. Note that all major towns and citys in game that are not infested with the plague will be locked down! this means the city or town gates will be heavily guarded and an official court appointed plague doctor must give you an exam before entering. If your infected meter is at even 1% you will not be allowed in the towns. Such towns will act as safe zones from pking and you will not become infected in the town. Though if you happen to adventure into a city sewer or something the town cannot guarantee your safety. I plan on having city guards and militia patrolling inside the citys so if you come up from a sewer infected you will be killed. I suggest taking some medicine with you. Blood letting is an ordinary thing is these times, so do not be surprised to see pools of blood.. or even a well full of blood..
