  1. So, I know most people here are probably not into Construct 2 or its event system. Its sort of like game maker because its not defined to any specific genre of game and your sort of starting from scratch. I like construct 2 because it teaches you how to program without ever having to code. It's event system is built like programming without every writing the code your self. So at the very least it teaches you to think critically and like a programmer. Its exporting options are sort of nice too, html, iphone, android and pc options. At they very least I love using construct 2 to build android and mobile games. I would personally never build a giant pc game with it but for mobile its awesome. What do you guys think of construct 2? I would love to create some tutorials if anyone is interested .
  2. There is auto tile options located in the intersect map editor. You have a few setup choices as well if i remember correctly. Like a rpg maker setup ect.

  4. Also no reason to build one giant seamless map yet keep all the individual maps square and noticeably tiling. Might as well add some roundness to your border trees Also use say four maps which are all surrounded by a border of trees to mix things up instead of having every individual map surrounded by trees in a square fashion. I understand you are trying to create a certain path for the player to follow. But this can be achieved without creating a square griddy world. Intersects powerful enough to create a seamless world out of small maps, so why would you want to let your players know your word is made up f small individual maps?

  9. Hello Ascension Forum members! Im Niko from eclipse if you are not familiar with me. In the past few years I have been working on multiple projects. Most were never completed because of unstable eclipse engines and lack of features ex. So recently I have decided to work on a website and release my game assets to the public. Each game asset pack will come with paper-dolls, tiles, characters, resources and more! Each pack will have a small free version available and a full set for purchase. This way everyone can preview and test before committing and use the sample packs for demos and what not. So my plan is to start them off very cheap and as they are updated and become more complete sets the price will raise and very. But, if you buy a set you will receive free updates for life. So say you bought a game package for 10-20$ and I updated heavily and expanded it with twice as many graphics. You will still be honored with the 10-20 dollar buy in and receive all the updates and expansions for free even if the price on the website was changed to 40-50 dollars for new buy ins. Guis will be very cheap like 5 Dollars. Audio will also be very cheap. Also if you guys every wanted an official Intersect tileset to be packed with the engine don't be afraid to hit me up. My sets have a retro "Indie" feel to them so you wont get anything like rpgm sets but it could help break up the visual monotony we see with games created with these sort of engines.
