  6. Ok. Well my tutorial triggers for new players, so its more of a cut scene intro then anything now so ill change the description and such. Could use the engines intro for a basic splash screen and my system for a start of a story. Thanks EDIT: I have change the title of my tutorial and added a note.

  9. Make the event so it acts like a block and have the interaction as player action (so it will have a button for the action). Then all you have to do is move the us a move route to go through the event. Like I said its not perfect but its a different way of looking at the issue using the event system. I was only providing a possible different solution as a workaround until source comes out.
  10. You can achieve a jump "like" affect through events (basically just move routes or teleports but wont be greatest). Would be even more appealing to do this when next version comes out and you can make the character invisible, as you make the char invisible then play a jump animation.

  12. You have to take in to account other aspects of the hosting machine and not just memory / internet speed, such a CPU, SSD and such. The better the machine the more players it will be able to host at a smooth rate. JC offers a good hosting solution which you can have a look at: On your other note I don't think "creation system add put the eyes, hair, color" will be added to the core build, this is something that would need to be done when the source is released.
  13. Nice one glad you sorted it, didn't have a look at videos as at work so was just going off the top of my head as I had a similar issue when doing the move rout for my lift system.

  15. You are on the correct lines yes. I have a faction tutorial on the cards from my game which I will hopefully post over the weekend Also if you have a look at my alignment system, I did my factions based on player alignment: Good / Neutral / Evil
  16. What movement speed / frequency did you set in your move route? I always set it to highest before applying the move route (set this in move route commands) and that works for me.
