  1. Have you tried using 2 separate map events. One map event that is a switch which controls the door and the other that actually is the door and is set to impassible. The control map event uses a true or false variable which it toggles on and off when you click on the event. The door map event (The door itself) has a condition to exist that the variable must be set to True. If you need a wider door just copy and paste the door map event and stamp a bunch of them side by side. And of course, you want to make the appropriate graphics to go with it.
  2. One thing I can tell you is the world of coming up with cool/fun ideas is easy and fun. The world of actually making those ideas happen in reality is work. Every idea that you dream up in your mind you are giving yourself a lot more work to do in reality. So just know that when you are dreaming big, Every good idea comes with the cost of a lot of real-world work.
  3. A long time ago I saw a post where people were talking about how many total maps you can have in your game. I think it was something in the millions, but I can't remember. I was looking for that post, but I can't find it. Anyway, I was just asking if someone could point me to it or just answer how many. Alright thanks very much for your time.
  4. The long and high content quest sound awesome. I think the wheel idea could work as long as it's obvious that some zones are tougher by the way the look. Such as the low-level spoke is like a friendly forest area. Whereas the highest-level spoke is like lava with rocky spikes everywhere.
  5. Oh cool what's it called?
  6. Oh cool looks good so far, well done.
  7. Cool is your game playable? I'll play it if you send me a link to it.

  12. It's been years since I messed with photoshop and I am just trying it out a little bit. Anyway I made these, and tried to make them fit in with the art style that Intersect is using these days. Anyways you can have them if you want them they are 100% free.
  13. Great Job, keep it up!
  14. A custom art style your doing yourself is always very impressive, as is the fact that you are a one man army, good job!
  15. Hello Moscano, I just wanted to say that your graphics look really good. I don't know what tile set you are using but it is a good one. Also I was impressed with your use of the lighting system, good job! Oh yes, and I was also impressed with the way you made it to where the player can swim in the water and sit on the benches, that was very cool. Good Job!
  16. The graphics are amazing, I don't know who is doing the drawing but you are doing a fantastic job. I would love to see a video of the game in action so I can better understand how it plays. Anyway good job.
