  1. Looks fantastic for a beginner!
  2. There is an option on "Tile Type" (right above all your tile sprites) that is called autotile. Click that, select the chunk of tiles you want to use and start mapping. It will make your game look wayyyy better. Hope this helps.

    WIP Nimue

Looks really nice! I especially like the look of the character and NPC sprites.
  4. This is so amazing! Excited to see where this goes in the future.
  5. Yeah, that's the plan. Either that or re-work the current one.
  6. Wow thank you so much! I really appreciate that! I do agree though the old bench did need some improvement. Also I agree haha, I just wish they put the last few arcs in to anime before ending it.
  7. Yeah it's a bit empty at the moment mainly because I'm waiting to add major stuff until open source is here. I have ideas of what to do but I don't want to build stuff until it's set in stone what features I'm actually adding. Also it's going to have some level separation for sure but theoretically a level 1 player could go anywhere, except maybe some dungeons or areas where everything is too strong.
  8. Since it's summer and I have a ton of more free time I figured I'd start working on this again. The website is down for a bit as I search for a new host but that shouldn't be an issue. Anyway I fixed up the mountain a bit but it still has some more stuff I'd like to add to it.
  9. Awesome thanks for the clarification! Also thank you to everyone else who suggested solutions.
  10. Actually it appears as if I got it to work. I just copied the dll files from "Server/libs/server/x64" into "Server/libs/server" as seen on this thread. Hopefully this is the proper way to run it and won't mess anything up.
  11. Just checked and everything seems to be there. Just to be sure I downloaded a fresh copy and I still seem to be getting an error. Although this time it's a different one. I haven't used this computer at all since yesterday. Now even if I try to start the normal server or the fresh copy it just says this. Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Mono.Data.Sqlite, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=0738eb9f132ed756' or one of its dependencies. File name: 'Mono.Data.Sqlite, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=0738eb9f132ed756' [ERROR] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Mono.Data.Sqlite, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=0738eb9f132ed756' or one of its dependencies. File name: 'Mono.Data.Sqlite, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=0738eb9f132ed756'
  12. For number 1 I'm not too sure. I have Intersect set up exactly how it comes default so if the library had to be moved in to it I doubt I have. How should I go about doing so if that's whats required? For 2, I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS For 3, this is exactly what I do after opening the terminal cd Desktop cd Server mono "Intersect Server.exe" I've also tried using "sudo" to launch the server but it has the same effect as the error featured in the main post.
  13. So I'm trying to run the server on Ubuntu but I'm running in to an issue. I know my way around Linux a little but am still very very new to it. So I followed the guide linked below and I still seem to be having some issues. I'm using beta 3 and only have the server installed on the computer. I've installed, uninstalled, and re-installed mono. I've used sudo to make sure I have root access yet I still encounter this issue upon trying to launch the server. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly or one of its dependencies. File name: 'Intersect Library, Version=0.3.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' [ERROR] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly or one of its dependencies. File name: 'Intersect Library, Version=0.3.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' Guide followed:
  14. Very nice, really like the dark theme and glad to see we're getting some documentation.
  15. Thank you everyone for the replies! I'll be sure to follow all the advice.
  16. So now formulas are out for Intersect but I still have no idea how to properly balance combat related content. Is there some sort of calculator or guide I can use to do so effectively?
  17. Awesome work! Really like the art style.
  18. Impressive for your first try!
  19. Haha I'm exactly the same way.
  20. Here's my setup. If you haven't noticed, I really like LEDs.
  21. Would be very cool to see this happen but it seems a bit early to announce it seeing as none of the features are even at 10% yet. Regardless I'm excited to see more!
  22. Really excited with how many updates Intersect has been getting lately. :)

  23. Really interesting concept. The ability to hide layers will definitely be useful.
  24. Haven't gotten to much time to work lately but here's what I have. I have also decided I am definitely re-doing the mountain to make it actually look like a mountain haha. I'll probably transform it in to some kind of dungeon as well. Anyway after I wrap up working on the mountain I'm going to be done with the map for the time being. I'd like to focus on getting combat related stuff going. Once that's all sorted out I'll make the first deadfrost zone and place a few random dungeons around. The city in the top right will probably be one of the last things I work on before release. I'd like that area to be a hub for activities such as skilling, trading, etc. I'm waiting for open source to happen so I know how to lay it out since I may add or remove some features. Anyway here's a screenshot!
  25. So excited formulas are being released. Would really like to start creating some combat oriented gameplay in my game.
