Hey guys, I am sure a lot of you are already familiar with Coding Game from Eclipse. But if not you should all check it out. Its basically a collection of coding challenges that are run in game form. There is also multiplayer contests where you can challenge others. There is a ton of languages available so it does not matter what language you know. Including vb.net. Fantastic Bits is a new multiplayer contest that just started today. It is running for the next 8 days. You are basically playing quidditch and you can build bots to win against opponents. It starts you off in wood league where the opponents basically dont even move. So its not hard to get started. Looks solid, the top left is kind of repetitive and a big square though. Not sure if users will even see that? Top middle isnt as bad but not the quality of the rest of the map. Looking good though

I am not sure the suicide rate necessarily is correlated with the surgery. They could be depressed before the surgery about being in the wrong body. Though I agree with NotAzizele that a lot of these mental problems arent going to magically go away. I have no problem with transgender people. The only thing I find sad about the situation is how hard their life is about to become. I would just make 100% sure this is the issue (as I am sure you have). I have had a couple of my friends change their mind 6 months to a year in. To be fair, I am sure their life was hard already not being in the right body. Hard to talk about a issue that you cant fully understand as you havent gone through it yourself though. Though its pretty amazing NotAzizele that you are open to discussion about it. I think that will really help awareness. I find there is a lot of anger (and rightfully so) in the trans community. Sometimes it is hard to get the facts and help your friends when a lot of people arent willing to talk to outsiders. (Though I understand why).

I dont know if she came over here from Eclipse but you should talk to bud. Believe they were doing the same thing.

Hey guys, I saw a post like this a few weeks ago so I decided to post my own. I have been in the industry for a few years now and I just finished working on: I am extremely happy to finally be in the industry, its a dream come true and I never realistically though this would happen. Anyway, the real point of this post is to say that I started the same way as all of you. I found a game engine (PlayerWorlds at the time). I kept trying to make Eclipse games and try out all the game makers I could find. I kept trying to make my own programs no matter how bad they may have been. I started in Basic and VB6, moved to C# and then went to school for programming. When I went for my interview they were very impressed by my Eclipse like projects. Its not necessarily about the quality its the fact that you have the passion to do stuff like this in your spare time. I also want to say that I am not the first by a long shot, a lot of the members that I grew up with on these forums are in similar positions. Whether its in gaming or not a lot of people have really followed their dreams and are now programming for a living. (Or game making!). So keep with the passion and keep with what your doing guys, it can really pay off in unexpected ways. It may all just seem like fun and games and chilling with your friends but one day you will realize just how much you learned. I am glad that places like this exist so that new people can get these opportunities :).

If you make intersect generate crash dumps you could get a much better idea about bugs like this. Probably would help a lot in the long run.

I think its a cool idea, wont be very powerful but no one buys a Nntendo console for power. They buy it for those sweet sweet Nintendo games. My only concern is it looks a little fragile. Check out this sweet concept art. If they ended up doing stuff like this it would be really cool.

Ah my bad, it is probably harmless but when your playing with the big boys you have to be careful. People have been fired over seemingly insignificant comments before. Its best to leave it to there press dept. But anyway, just my 2 cents. Not saying I know best. Also to make it clear the edit had nothing revealing anyway, this is making it look like it did.
