Linux and Wine

Is it possible to work with this in Linux? Or in Linux using Wine?

Peaverin is correct.

I've never tried to run the editor off of Windows (I don't even have Wine installed), but the server and client work (almost) natively on Linux and OSX, but require you to install Mono and run "mono <executable name>" to start them from the terminal.

I just wanted to add a note here that I moved on to Unity due to the lack of support for linux with the Intersect editor.

If running the client and server on linux isn't enough and you require the editor suite as well then that's your only option. To all of those who make similar decisions I wish you the best of luck.

 

 

Edit: @biosboy4 can you edit your post and tell us what you switched to? (Just in case others are interested in alternative solutions)
