  1. The presents thread.

    Bought myself a PSVR.
  2. Dev Blog 11/28/2017 - Jsonification!

Man, I have to go learn json now lol... The change sounds awesome! I look forward to it!
  3. making a ground event deal damage?

Make an enemy (no sprite) slow attack speed ranged that appears for a small period of time then disappears (getting 1 hit in)
  4. Yeah, seems a logic error on my part.
  5. Story Today I did this on my project...

Yeah I would like to see static, I want similar with maps, but I might just code in this. (For create a guild) or just for top guilds each month. I will see.
  6. Story Today I did this on my project...

Nice! Are the blocks permanent? (besides if they take damage?)
  7. Can you attach the error or Intersect Server.pdb?
  8. I just tested this, it will give you the appropriate amount, and take all of your bottles. Doesn't seem broken, it just recognizes that you don't have enough, but just takes all of them. I had 3 in my inventory, sold 100000 (fake input) and it gave me 3 potions worth of gold.
  9. Story Today I did this on my project...

Sorting through purchased assets, redesigning and fixing 32x32 tilesets that were not on a grid. <= Pain in the butt, as most of them were touching eachother... Will have to redo all of the animations as they are not in the correct format for this engine. Maybe tomorrow.
  10. Stuck in Event editor

Yeah I didn't see that x. Works as intended.
  11. For tracking and organizational purposes, please include ONLY ONE bug or suggestion per report. Thank you! Reports not in English will be removed. /////////////////////////////////////////////////// Error Description /////////////////////////////////////////////////// Hold Player / Interaction Freeze does not seem to hold the player during interaction when movements are involved. /////////////////////////////////////////////////// Replication Steps /////////////////////////////////////////////////// I have an event that moves the player 4 steps backwards, holds the player while the event steps out to stop the player, and the player is supposed to be frozen until the Event returns to its original position. (To prevent the player from using the warp under a certain level.) However, the player is still able to move and able to interact with the Event during its movement, causing the whole event to be useless. Another issue with this is that during speaking, the player can still hold UP and get past the Event to get to the warp. -Edit- It seems if the event has to move, the player gets released. I have it set so player moves, gets held, show text, (wait for route completion of event), event moves, event moves back, player is released, end event processing. Player is released after text shows though. The only way I was able to get Hold player to work is by holding player immediately, which then does not allow movement. (Bugs the rest of the event) and player is never released . /////////////////////////////////////////////////// Attach Screenshots/Other media //////////////////////////////////////////////////// /////////////////////////////////////////////////// Attach Error Logs //////////////////////////////////////////////////// If you are using Intersect, please find and attach BOTH your Client/Resources/Logs folder and Server/Resources/Logs folder to help us debug your problem. Without these logs we often cannot fix bugs in the engine.
  12. Intersect Engine

For bug reporting purposes you may want to overwrite the .pdb files with the new ones (4.4 and earlier) 4.5+ all have the updated .pdb files.
  13. It has came to my attention that the board "Resource Requests" follows the regular board rules as there is no specific rule outlining a set of rules for that board. Upon me following rule #1.3 on a request that had no answers or offers, I was in violation of rule #2.4 According to rule #2.4 I should be posting a new thread in response to the older request, however this would be in violation of rule #1.1 So as you see, wanting to respond to an older un-fulfilled request creates an unavoidable rule-breaking scenario. Yes, a resource request from a year ago is an old post, but might be helpful if that person was still needing that resource. Seeing as the rule 2.4 outlines 2 months, the same could similarly be said for recent-ish requests. I propose a rule-set specific for allowance of following rule #1.3, thus avoiding breaking rule #2.4 or rule #1.1 in the Resources section. Another violation, let's say I made a awesome UI or program that I released for use with the Intersect engine, and it has a bug within it with a new update. John Doe wishes to notify me of this, however he can not technically post in the thread as it would be a necro-post... However posting a new thread would be somewhat counter-productive to the boards itself, posting in other sections would be in violation of rule #2.2
  14. A Cat Silhouette

Ok, I will follow the rules as outlined.
