iLeGiTiMx Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Hello, some time-related questions for you 1. Is it possible to set the time via server? 2. Is it possible to give a map a locked time? 3. When I use the vanilla source code, these options doesn´t have any effect on my map: https://i.imgur.com/lFACVjI.png Do I need to set them up first? I would like to see my map at night in the editor but it doesn´t do anything. Hope you can answer me Best regards, xored
0 Aesthetic Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 There is a night/day editor within the engine, look under the editor tabs, there you can assign all of those values.
0 iLeGiTiMx Posted September 8, 2020 Author Posted September 8, 2020 Thank you, I tried but there are no changes ingame.. With speed x50 I should see any changes ingame but nothing happens, it´s always daytime.
0 Beefy Kasplant Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Maybe try to give the overlay a colour
0 Cheshire Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Also make sure the map isn't marked as being indoors.
0 iLeGiTiMx Posted September 8, 2020 Author Posted September 8, 2020 Well the color was the hint thank you But ingame it doesn´t switch, it´s always Day or always Night, but not a smooth tansition :S I tried with x50 and x10, but nothing happens, only in the editor.. I think I am lost
0 gooby Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 i had the same issue because i didnt add the new shader (radialgradient.xnb from the linked post below) to my "\Intersect-Engine\build\debug\client\resources\shaders" folder. once i replaced it, everything worked fine. have you already tried that?

They are working in the editor and ingame BUT the time is "fixed". I set it to x50 speed but ingame nothing changes: https://i.imgur.com/XCY5cw2.png Its like that all the time, so there is no cycle.. Are you sure the map is not indoors?
