Beefy Kasplant
Im using my PC just to listen to spotify or watch movies.  How can I set it up so I just have a bunch of Icons to choose from?  Its connected to my TV so I want big buttons and I want to be able to control it with my phone.  Any ideas how to set this up?

jcsnider
Ive tried and failed many times to achieve something good with pc. Even if you get a decent kodi setup working (Which is probably your best option) support for apps like Spotify is lacking.  I cannot recommend a generic android tv box/stick enough with TV Launcher from the play store. Then you can install all of the apps you want from the play store, and they’ll be supported natively and receive timely updates, and just work.  This is how I configure tvs for myself, my family, and my friends - it’s too easy. Worldofjimmy and Beefy Kasplant
Beefy Kasplant
Thanks guys! Will check out Kodi.  I already have the pc, so sadly an Android stick is out of the question.  Might just sell the damn thing though.  Anyone looking for a gaming PC? Justn
Kodi or plex are your easiest options on pc. Let me know if you need any help.
Apache_
Plex is super easy. Shoot me a message and I'll give you a login to my server so you can check it out. Â Edit: Did not realize this was from like 6 months ago. Edited January 28, 2019 by Apache_
jcsnider
Yeah, but I can also jump in and say +1 for Plex. As long as you can house your own media it’s a godsend. Been using it for a few months now.
