  1. Then I currently have no idea what's up. This is also running beta 3.1 correct? If so, open an issue and mention @Kibbelz in it (I am delegating this issue to him). If not, update to 3.1.
  2. So that would be a yes to question 1... we only had confirmation that it was in the editor's resources since they were shown in your screenshots of the editor. If the graphic is present for the resource in the client's resources directory, I can't reproduce your issue so it may have been fixed by Kibz or JC for Beta 4. I'll ask again, did you actually set the fishing rod icon? Max HP was fixed for Beta 4.
  3. Did you copy the graphics to the client? For the fishing rod did you make sure the graphic exists on the client and that it was actually set in the editor?
  4. There aren't enough Russian-speaking members that actively post that we are aware of to justify adding another board, and presently we don't have anyone capable of moderating such a board.
  5. @Gibier Is right. And no, we will not be making this into a UI server. The ideal situation is for this to run as a service in the background on a real server, a control panel ideally should hook in via a call system that we haven't made, but it definitely should not be integrated into the server itself.
  6. Took ~15 minutes.

      Oddly

      I promise it's clean.

  8. Can confirm. Took 4 hours.
  9. No, and you readily admitted that the question has been beat to death. We're getting a release date question on average at least once per day — we will tell you guys when something is decided.

  11. He's just salty because VB6 is too limited to really do any of this stuff easily.
  12. Or just use the Ubuntu Gnome distro since it's going to become the main release stream (what I'm doing).
  13. I myself prefer bare Arch to Antergos or Manjaro, but the last time I was installing Linux I had a graphics driver issue that completely blocked me from using any graphical interface for any Linux distro, so I never managed to install and try them out. CentOS and Fedora are also pretty nice (the latter being effectively the beta for the former and branded RedHat). I'm currently running Ubuntu on my gaming rig, and really only because I want better game support. Going to use my second machine to prototype Arch customizations to get a look and feel that i want. Oh, also, at the moment I'm a Gnome fan. KDE has yet to get me to give it a moment's notice, and at least with the people I know has a less-than-positive reputation. Are you using pacaur or yaourt, and do you have any intention of playing games on your machine? Also, pics of your interface please?
  14. Past setting up a rule, I have no idea how to port-forward on Windows, at least not on Google Cloud. I have no idea what you mean about Google not letting you see the portforwarded address/not letting you portforward it, so I'm not going to be able to help any further.
  15. Which distro of Linux were you running? What version of said distro were you running? What exactly does "could not get it working" mean? Did the server start, but you couldn't connect? Did the server error out on startup? (I'm going to assume you changed the IP on your client, but I'm mentioning this just in case.) More information would help us help you.

  17. Instead of using the panel on the right to create new maps you can just click the squares that are slightly visible in any of the 4 cardinal directions (the 4 semi-cardinal directions will have the map editor yell at you) to create new, seamless-linked maps. As you might guess from the name, you won't see the edges between two seamless maps in game, and they act like one giant map.
  18. All maps are locked to the same size because of seamless maps. This also helps with chunking in memory so stupid-huge maps can't be loaded in and bog down a device.
  19. Both bottom corners just need more stuff in them. Detail is hard, but more detail is what they need. Roads should turn a little, and perhaps not meet up so perfectly dead center in the map.
  20. It's not inherently bad, just really simple. It lacks sufficient detail given how big of a space it is, and is also a little too square (mostly referring to the roads). The water is in between being ok with no additional detail, and not having enough detail (i.e. some rocks or something, even more plants would improve it). Also the garden is too full of the same thing. You don't have to change the type of plant, but maybe add a dirt path to add some visual diversity? The bottom right corner of the map has too much clustered detail, without enough detail overall, and the bottom left corner has not enough detail but it's also too spread out. Basically the bottom corners represent the two opposite ends of how there can be not enough detail.
  21. Looks good, although the water lines are a little bit harsh. If they blended in a little bit more with the water I think it would make them even better.

    Mounts?

No, not really. Someone could make it as a source mod later on.
  23. Not in base Intersect. Later down the road when there Intersect becomes open source someone could add that functionality. P.S. Don't ask when the source release will happen.
  24. Pretty confident Beta 4 will be within the next 6 months.
  25. No ETA on Beta 4. We do have bug fixes, but I do not know if we can make another minor release to get those out prior to networking.
