I'll give it a try, thank you!

@Mighty Professional Hmm, perhaps. The tool would have to create several thousand events and items, and configure them, but most of the event code is the same thick and through. I'm sure its possible, but just as time consuming as inputting the data, I'd think.

Is there anyway to actually shorten the hot bar? For my Pokémon game I’m basically thinking you get all the skills your Pokémon can use(if u are the right level to use em all) but can only place 4 in the hotbar. Is it possible to change the hot bar and remove it to only 4 without the source?

It was yours and another project that actually inspired my idea. I wasn’t going to do it because I didn’t want to limit players to leveling just one Pokémon, I want them to be whatever Pokémon they want. Thus, this system. Was literally smoking one day, and I don’t know, it came to me. I was like wait...I think I just came up with a recruitment system for the event system ?, does I tried it, so it works works haha. I was also intrigued by the fact I could use common events for evolution and learning new skills which I thought was awesome. Its merely just a placeholder until source is available, then, I will do an automated recruiting system that hopefully includes all generations. Again, if anyone’s interested I still need help!! Thanks<3

I didn't want to release too much but I suppose its okay. Its essentially a game where you play as the Pokemon, taking revenge on trainers who've pitted you against each all your life. Its a whacky take on it. The system I need data input is for the recruiting, its a PMD type of feature where you basically "recruit" other Pokemon. Essentially a placeholder, really, until source is available. However its fully functional and works through the event system at this time.

Intersect. I've also decided, that the way I'm doing things, adding EVERY single Pokemon will take forever. I will scatter Pokemon from several different regions across 1 NEW region we are going to create, I think it will be much easier work load this way, and having 700+ Pokemon in one region would be a mess anyways. REGARDLESS...I still need people to input data. If your curious what the project holds, PM me
-
That is probably what I will do. I made the map I made to test a variety of stuff I wanted to made sure it worked. This is by no means the run-of-the-mill Pokemon game though, it has a twist. The way I'm doing things requires a ton of data input, so currently I'm focusing on inputting data for generation 1, which is what I need help with. I appreciate your comment, chances are, we will have our own custom "kanto".

Thank you for the suggestion Just Kanto at the moment, though I have the sprites for all gens.

I originally had the text on the logo say features about the game, but I'd rather keep most of it as secret as possible at this time. Logo is subject to change. I'll go into detail as much as I can without revealing things I don't want too at this time. About the Game I don't want to go too in-depth here, as I want to keep this project mostly a secret, but I'll give as much information here as possible. For starters, and most obviously, its a Pokemon fan-made game. I currently have all the GFX and such needed, and no engine limitations to what I want to create, its all done through the event editor. I am currently the only one working on the project, and I don't intend to bring too many people aboard, a select few<3. I have an interesting storyline for the game that I'm sure will intrigue most Pokemon fans. For the time being, it will only be generation 1, though I have sprites for all generations. If you'd REALLY like to know more, and have a serious interest, then PM me and I can present more details. Screenshots Big image warning! Website/Forums We currently have no website or forums that are open to the public at this time. Task at Hand If you are interested in the job, your task would be inputting data into the Item Editor and Common Event Editor, inputting various Pokemon data. No pre-reqs needed, I'll need alot of help with this data inputting, so I'll take anyone whos really interested! Anyone who can participate in this process, even just a little bit, will be mentioned in the credits! Thank you!!

Ahh, bingo. Thats what it is, thank you!

I think I booched something :S My character moves incredibly slow. Is there a way to fix this?
-
Not entirely sure. It’s to my belief that Mobile is actually bit different from PC.
-
Just got done playing some PUBG:Mobile with @George and it got me thinking... who else plays PUBG Mobile here?! Drop your username and maybe your rank? Also feel free to discuss the game in this thread. I’m surprised how well it runs, and looks. For a mobile game, they transferred pretty well. I heard Fortnite controls are rough, so kudos to PUBG. Giligis - Silver V solo and squad I believe, don’t play much duo.

Not my place to say, but they should add it! For both paper dolls and items, a simple recolor option would be awesome. I can’t remember what engine I used them at did it, but it was awesome for making “different items and paper dolls” when using limited items and paper dolls.

@PhenomenallyLongName4Panda I like the background broÂ

Its certainly a cool project. I used to make games around the engines limitations too, a Pokemon fan-game where you play as the Pokemon instead of trainer, seems like a way around engine limitations. I'm not bashing it! Its certainly an awesome idea, especially executed well, and a lil different from mystery dungeon (or a lot of different hehe) so that's also interesting. Good luck dude, been a Pokemon fan for a long long time now, interested to see what happens. INB4 Copyright, I think everyone who makes a fan-made Pokemon game gets it so lets not fill this thread with that, I see it every Fan-made thread lol.

Story Today I did this on my project...

@Riptide @SkywardRiver Project Mythril looks amazing. Keep up the good work, the art is simply beautiful. Sort of nostalgic a in way as well. Excited to see what you guys come up with in the future. Sky has always brought quality to the table. -
You will have to port forward port 4500 in order for people to play your game and have others connect. Visit http://www.portforward.com and select your router, it will tell you how to port forward for your specific router. When it asks you to put another port, you need to ignore it and put 4500. Once you've done that, go to http://www.whatismyip.com and you'll need to go into the config.xml, open it with notepad, and change the IP to your public IP address, the one the website gives you. Save it, zip it up, and send it to your friend. It should be online now.

Can they do the same graphic engine but offline?
Giligis replied to nahured's question in Questions & Answers
That's why I would recommend you don't use this option. -
Can they do the same graphic engine but offline?
Giligis replied to nahured's question in Questions & Answers
Yes, I know. If you REALLY want to make a single player game with Intersect, pack Intersect with the server, set the server to localhost, and now they just have to run the server themselves, and bam, single player game...kind of..It works a bit, its kind of cool because they have the server so they can do "Co-op" or something with friends, but making it truly single player is impossible until source edits. This would be the only work-around. -

Giligis replied to nahured's question in Questions & Answers
Though the devs would love to make an offline version, it might be a possibility, but in the very very far future, if at all. I wouldn't get your hopes up, I'd do it yourself when the source becomes available. -
Nope, sadly not.

That style of art is looking hella dope. -
I don't believe there is a tutorial for something like that at this particular moment, however, its pretty easy. You'll have to go into the Intersect editor and create a monster under "NPC Editor", once you've created a monster, you go into the Map Editor and and add the NPC you just created into the game, on that map.
