[Server] How to change the ip server

Hi does someone can tell me how to change the server ip ? I want to put a no-ip, i checked the config.xml and the .db but i don't found how to change the ip server.

You first have to change the IP the client connects to in it's config.xml file. The file is located in the client's resource folder. You should be able to use no-ip with Intersect.

You can't change the ip as that would mean you could host it on others pc's but you can change the port so it doesn't clash with anything by going to server/resources/config.xml opening it in notepad or notepad++ and then change the port to whatever you want.

So i just need to give the client to other person and they will enter automatically in the game?

Effectively yeah jc can tell you what files you have to pack with the game for it to run so ask him

it's <Host>localhost</Host> i guest ? But i don't see it on the config.xml on the server file

server does not need a ip change, you just give the client your ip, in this case, a no-ip adres

You're welcome nice that it worked and the client can be cleared of a few things but yeah well done ( : check my server post as using it you can change the client name
