Shoutbox posting topic links?

This is a question for you. At the top of the shoutbox there is the line that says the following.

 

To benefit all members, please refrain from asking and providing support in the shoutbox.

 

Does this also include posting a link to a topic? As I see posting a link to a topic that I may have over looked not actually asking for support as there is a record about it so it would benefit the community?

Posting a link, fine. Especially if it's ran off the recent topics side bar. 

 

Spamming it it however is absolutely not allowed.

I believe the shout box appears after being registered for two weeks

If the shoutbox is gone and you've been registered for longer than two weeks- you've been banned from using the shoutbox.

@Azkanan checked your join date, you may be able to use the shoutbox in two days. We disable it for two weeks for new users to get used to posting to the forum.
