I'm not really all that sure about the pixelated tiles on the "borders" of the map, but other than that it looks absolutely beatiful, nice job!

yeah its a really nice map, just some tiles do not merge. The pokemon trainer also looks very out of place but i assume thats for testing.

thanks for the comments, the sprite is just for testing...forgot to put "dont mind the sprite also" :D

@Kibbelz can you point out where the tiles did not merge, so i can correct if for future mapping.. thanks

Well, you just have tilesets of completely different resolutions conflicting with eachother. Your stairs also need a lot of work; right now, they're essentially ladders. Stairs should be much longer than the cliff they climb up.

Closer, but not long enough. Stairs should, in a perfect world, be twice as long as the cliff face. You don't have to make it that perfect, but it should be longer than just one tile. The important thing is to just be consistent, though. If you consistently do it wrong, people will think it was a stylistic choice, lol

question: anyone know whats the use of overlay?? ty

It overlays color onto the map, to give it more personality. In example, a Fairy Forest can be tinted purple-pinkish, whereas a dark cave can been giving a dark red or blue or something.
