This looks really good. Will it be playable with a VR headset? I notice it has the ability for this.

Check your png file to make sure your bits are matching up when saved. You want to make sure you save in png 24 bit with transparency on and interlaced off. If you save at 8 bits you will have issues.

What are the minimum computer requirements needed to run Intersect? One of my biggest concerns about Intersect is how resource heavy it is on my cpu. Are there plans to make the engine more compatible with lower end computers?

The laptop to the right is an older acer quad core that I use to keep up with Ambardia EO. People still play it so I have to do some amount of admin stuff and minor updates here and there. Attached to that is a small monitor I use to throw up maps of various ambardia versions so that I have a guide for the maps I am remaking in Intersect. The monitor in the back is the monitor that is hooked up to the dedicated Ambardia Reborn server that runs 24/7. the laptop with the red glowing keys is a top of the line i7 I use to develop Ambardia in Intersect and the big tv monitor on the far left is were I watch porn.

It's a great first start. You have to start some where and I encourage you to keep it up. Good job. -
You can see it all working in my last tutorial series video here:

This was an alpha 1.9 screen shot.

No worries, It still lets me do a lot of other things and still saves the work. It is mostly just an annoyance. WORKAROUND: If you want to save your work, instead of hitting the save button just double click on the next map over. It will ask if you want to save the current map. It saves and you can keep on working.

Whenever I try to save my map now it always says I have been disconnected from the server and want me to export the map instead. This is really annoying. Is there a way to fix this so it will just save the map normally?

I'm waiting for at least Beta 3 before I continue my tutorial series. In the mean time I figured I would give you all a sneak peek behind the seans of Ambardia being developed in Intersect. Hope you enjoy.

We need a good quest guide now

I have a following and they all want to know when I am going to release a new version of Ambardia. I have dedicated players who are still playing right now. I shut down Ambardia for a while but after receiving hundreds of e mails and requests I opened it back up to the most stable version of Robins EO version that I had. My question is... At what point should I try and launch an Ambardia Intersect version? Should I just map and add assets for a while or will Intersect Beta 2.0 be something I could launch an alpha with? If Intersect is in Beta then of course our games have to be beta as well. Can we follow the path of Intersect along with our game beta or should we wait till a later version? I don't want to spend hundreds of hours of my time and my teams time if we end up with an engine that turns into a dead end. I am watching my server right now and players are talking about other games they hate and why they like Ambardia. I'm anxious to show them the power of Intersect. Give me some feed back and thoughts. I really want to show a lot of people what this community is about.

Great tutorial! This really helped a lot Niko

THANKS! Fixed it right up.

Is the alpha channeling for the png tiles going to be fixed? Totally killed my lighting affects. Looks perfect in editor but seems to reduce the lighting affects to 8 channels instead of 24 in the actual client.

Fantastic job! I can't even tell you all how excited I am about this. Just checked out all the new features and they seem to work flawlessly. I hope to have some new updated tutorial videos out tonight. The alpha version videos will still work fine so I will update those when I can. Great job Ascension Game dev!!!
