Nice share man, I aprove. Does it convert all files in the folder?

Its better considering the average pixels on a monitor in 2k15 has increased a lot since way back in the 90's. This was the right step, looking at eclipse and rpg maker xp projects on my desktop they take up 1/4 of the screen and I have to squint to see stuff :/
-
Me too, I don't know if it can go further than just simple rpg's, Example moving towards online gameplay, However I'd assume so since earlier versions of RPG Maker had mods that allowed it to do so.

What do you guys think? http://gematsu.com/2015/08/rpg-maker-mv-announced-pc-mac

Well reason we don't have any (yet) is because the programmer (me) is busy with Intersect as we'll be using that eventually

Character Creation Dev Blog 07/23/2015 News/Updates From the title you've guessed it, I finnished adding character creation for Intersect today and I'm posting a dev blog entry! Until now, accounts were created simply with a username, password and email. Character statistics were assigned by default for testing purposes. Now I've gone back and added character creation. This form of character creation is simple, It allows the user to name their character alongside assigning a class, gender and sprite. All feilds are assigned via the class editor which was completed a few days ago. Below is a screenshot of the character creation menu. Character creation is very simple right now, We want to encorrage more advanced character creations which include allowing users to customize their characters with different skin colours, hair styles etc. However, we realised that this will not apply to everyone as the majority of the community will be using premade graphics such as RPGMAKER that don't support this sort of feature. Thus we realised its not essential for the main engine. We plan to go back after the release and release a more sophisticated character creation as a optional source tutorial enabling the engine to be more diverse for various users with various needs. Content/Show Off As always, feel free to post comments and questions below! We are excited to hear your thoughts on our progress!

It looks really good, What is the pink thing by the river?

I like it a lot! But as usual let me give you some constructive critisism: I'm not too sure I'm a fan of the penis like noses with no nostrils defined I think you have too much of a dip when connecting the cheek bone to the jawline. I'd like to see it less defined? If that is even a word lol Kudos as always, best of luck in the future. -Suusanoo

Class Editor Dev Blog 07/16/2015 News/Updates Classes. In previous engines, classes were given data by configuration files, we believe this is very old fashioned, heck this is 2015 we're not living in the dark ages! With a nice new interface, you can add classes to your game(s) easily and quickly. We also would like to introduce other base stats to start the game with including base HP, Mana and Points that you can start the game with to customize your character! Other introductions include the addition of learning spells when reaching a certain level rather than only being able to learn them via the item system. Hopefully these changes will actually give more of a purpose to the class system than originally just determining what items you can equip in game. Below you can find a preview of the new editor. Well I assumed woodcutting would be interacting with the resource system. I was more talking about crafting, cooking etc The expansion is nice though, it definately needs it.
-
Looks interesting man, care to show a video on how the player interacts with these skills?
-
Another nice low level tutorial, I'm sure these will all be useful to newbs You explained it in more detail than I ever could, guess you're just a better teacher than I am
-
A pretty nice low level tutorial for beginners. Are you considering doing any more?

Resources Complete Dev Blog 07/13/2015 News/Updates What changes have I done? Lets have a look: 1. Resources now actually spawn 2. Resources can be attacked 3. Resources can die 4. Resources can drop items on death 5. Resources can respawn Below are a few screenshots of the system working if you we're unfamiliar with how a resource system works in practice. These images show attacking and the death of a tree whilst being attacked with an axe. Content/Show Off As always, feel free to post comments and questions below! This project looks really interesting, How many people do you have on your team and how long have you been working on your project? I assume this engine was written in VB6 however I'd love to see you transition this to .NET since you and/or your team have the ability to make some really cool features in a more modern and supported language. All the best, I hope to see more updates soon.

We're getting somewhere now! Just waiting for when its possible to load different backgrounds for the layout!
-
Ascent will be out a while after the release of Intersect since that ultimately will be our engine Also, *Pokes Xenogene* get your ass online.
-
Looks interesting, I'd love to see some video footage though before I can judge since I don't know how far in you are All the best.
-
I'll give this a try later, I'll actually judge this game from its gameplay, unlike certain people who vote low to boost their own confidence. I'll post my feedback here soon, since constructive feedback is important, even if its negative

Sorry to disapoint but this project is far off completion morbius, I suggest you give other projects a go first

The chat is currently too large and requires a second scrollbar. Other than that it looks solid.
