  1. A lot of people use random anime girls as avatars, or they just have a crush on some girl. because your avatar is a faceless white humanoid shape am i to believe that you are not a true human?
  2. I dont remember giving you permission! I"m on top of Bracket Man. Crzy
  3. Did someone say my name? Phobie, did you summon me? Oh I thought you summoned me... it's kind of hard to hear when you are deep in the underworld.Oh well now that I'm here I might as well screw up your game... you'll never know will i post in here again when you least expect it, or will I continue to lurk in the darkness?. Gahduvdeth will be next.
  4. I'm part of the other 99%.... I'm a rebel!
  5. Hey Damian, for your slot machines you can use my slot machine code if you want.
  6. Many of you have seen these, and one day I might give a new pic. but here you go. Sorry, but being a succubus interferes with the camera lenses... I dont know why the pics always come out distorted. I always have to post this pic... i dont know why, but i love it.
  7. i saw a commercial that some doctor will do surgery on your pits so you dont sweat or stink. Not sure how healthy that is because you need to sweat to get rid of toxins, and regulate body temperature.
  8. go to your account settings and add a signature.
  9. So i decided to restore my Street Fighter II arcade cabinet back to it's original glory. The cabinet was tagged all up, and the front had a big crack in the wood. This is what it originally looked like. Front Back I sanded everything down. Side with some old paint still on. Other side... i filled in some deep gouges with putty First side completely sanded Front sanded, and cracks filled with putty. You can see the control panel sticker is torn up... i have to find a new control panel online somewhere. I haven't finished painting it yet so i don't have finished pics yet. I'll post those when I'm done.
  10. The only reason that Macs did not have as many viruses is because they are over priced, and not that many people used them. Now that is is fashionable to use macs, more and more viruses are being targeted to the mac, and they are getting infected more often.
  11. I love 10. It runs everything very well. I have not had any issues with it. The ui is weird at first but once you get used to it and put it to good use it actually makes things very easy to get to. I loved windows 7, it definitely was one of the best OS that microsoft put out, but 10 is right up there.
  12. Im not gay.... I'm bi. As your queen I royally decree I win!
  13. I literally have no idea which is my favorite... I am such a NIN fangirl I love every single song. NIN is the only band I have ever purchased EVERY album from even the remix albums. I LOVE this song... it is super slow, but I really relate to it... especially lately. If you look real hard you might even see me in the crowd somewhere! This show was absolutely AMAZING!!!
  14. Here we GOOOOO!!!!! As you'll see my kitty was very interested and wanted to help! Here was my prototype controller i built a long time ago. Here is the inside... I hacked a keyboard to use as my encoder... it was pretty fun mapping out all the connections to see what button was being pressed. Unfortunately it did not work to well because if you press too many buttons at once you get ghosting. Since some of the keys share the same inputs, if you press keys that overlap you'll get a different key pressed as well. I had to try to space as many buttons apart as possible. Fun project though! Here are some of the tools i used My button template made out of cardboard My nifty hole drill I went to Ikea, and bought a cheap $30 coffee table, and hollowed it out. it really was cheap... it was thin fake wood with a bee hive shape cardboard structure to make it firm I cut out space for the buttons and joystick. i had to glue a thicker piece of plywood to the table to mount the joystick to so it had more support, and so the screws would not poke through the table. Added my player 1 and player 2, and coin buttons and cut out some more stuff. Started wiring things to my new encoder made specifically for arcade emulation Added a back board to mount my monitor to. player 1, 2 and coin buttons Added a trackball Cut apart an old PC tower and mounted it to the underneath of the table with the power supply and a drive tower to hold the drives. Also mounted the monitor. Drive tower Another look... table is standing on it's side. Trackball unlit. Trackball lit. I'm using a flashlight as i dont have the leds for it yet. Buttons lit. I have different types of buttons because the solid colored ones are from my old prototype before they had light up buttons. The buttons will eventually light up and let you know which ones to use. They can also change color. Close up of lit button, compared to unlit Here is the system up and running showing MAME Zoomed out shot It's been an ongoing saga trying to get everything set up but it is fun. I did learn that you can only remove so much stuff from the table, and the little bee hive stuff actually supports the table pretty well. Where my player 1 and 2 buttons are, a LOT of the bee hive stuff was removed to make room for the buttons and stuff, and after leaning on that area of the table, it eventually cracked, and now the front of the table is broken. The buttons should be placed in a different spot. I was also going to put plexi glass on the top and use it as an actual coffee table, but i decided to have this be an experiment and not spend the money. Good thing since it broke. I also learned that viewing LCD screens that are laying down is not the best. I had to flip the monitor upside down... for some reason you can see a monitor laying flat upside down better, but it is still hare to see sometimes... you have to be looking straight down at it. It's a little short to sit around and it starts hurting your back being scrunched over trying to see the screen. Now i plan on building an upright hybrid, and connect to my 55' tv for the monitor, but that will take time and money which i dont have right now. I also plan on building a virtual Pinball machine!!!! those look fun to build. This is kind of what i have planned for my new build. Hope you enjoyed my project! ^.^
  15. I'll post some pics of my arcade coffee table i built in a little bit as well. I actually have some of the greyed out systems, i just don't know how to get them to show up yet. I also have a few other systems that i have not installed yet, so my list is actually a little larger than this. Bask in the glory of my emulation!!!
  16. Perfect description of Gwen! really powerful, little complex, seems to have a mind of its own but overall worth it
  17. Wow Murdock... those are really good! You need to paint me a dragon!
  18. I like the new site... it's very pretty!
  19. At first I couldn't stand windows 8, but after using it as my main OS at work so i could be ready if we ever had to switch it grew on me. I actually find it easier to get to some things without having to clutter my desktop with a bunch of shortcuts. I haven't tried the beta of Win10 yet, but i did activate the free upgrade to it. If the UI is the same as 8 I think it will be ok. I'm looking forward to giving 10 a shot.
  20. cool... next i'm going to make video poker and blackjack. I got super close to making a multiplayer poker game in Ragnarok, but our server died before i could finish it. I have some other gambling games in mind too.
  21. Ok so I like programming casino games. I have made slot machines, video poker, 21, and a few others for a private Ragnarok server, and Eclipse. I figured I'd give it a go and make a script to be used in an engine that uses C# or i guess .net. Currently this slot machine does work as a stand alone game... i use windows forms so it is ugly but functional. Be nice to me... i haven't scripted anything in like 4 or more years, and this is the first c# program I've completed on my own. I'm sure it could be optimized better, and some things are probably unneeded. (I don't know when or why you use properties instead of just a standard variable, but my book said you should use them so i did.) Half way through putting in all the stupid pay out labels, and trying to line them up i realized i should have used a table, but by then i was to far in! It is also really ugly, as I am not very creative. The ultimate goal for this is so someone could add a slot machine to their game. They should be able to copy the code, and change the parts that use windows form items to their engine's UI... like the buttons, and labels. This slot machine is based on a real world slot machine, so as long as the random generator works correctly it should be fairly hard to actually win all the time. I set it up so you can change the bet amounts, the names of the stops of the chambers, and the totals using the variables at the top. To change the name of the stops you just need to do a find/replace all. Here is the full project. The game exe is in the zip file too. http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=08413739405804981570 here is the code... This just contains the script for the actual workings of the slot machine. i am not displaying the code for the windows form. using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.ComponentModel; using System.Data; using System.Drawing; using System.Linq; using System.Text; using System.Windows.Forms; namespace Slots { public partial class Form1 : Form { private static Random rVal; //Sets value for each bet button private const int bet1 = 5; private const int bet2 = 10; private const int bet3 = 15; //values for each reel. 22. Hello... I am your resident ditzy succubus Gwendalin. Get ready... I think this is the first time I've given out my full back story! Most likely its just going to bore you guys! I started my online life with a game called Priston tale. I roamed around in that game by myself, never really making friends. It might come as a shock to some of you that know me, but I am actually very shy. I've played online games before, like battlefiled and stuff, but those are mostly just one off team matches. One day i was reading the forums for PT, and i saw a post from someone to join a private Ragnarok server. It looked pretty cool so I signed up. My first night playing i ran into a few friendly people, and started talking to them in the forums. This is where I met Anna Comnena. Some of you might know her on the Eclipse forums. Anna and I hit it off really well and from that day on we were always together. Despite my reputation for being a scary dominatrix, I followed Anna around like a puppy dog. Our Ragnarok server was fairly small, and I eventually became friends with the people that were running it. One day the server was going to have to be shut down, so I offered to host the server at my company. My boss didnt care and let me host it. From hosting the server I learned how to set up a private server, and modify it. I started writing scripts for Ragnarok, and built a nice set of casino games for it. Eventually I ended up taking over the the server. We had a nice player base, we were constantly updating the server with new scripts, and items, but then i lost my job. I fell out of touch with everyone for a long time. Finally I got a new job, and got in contact with Anna again. She moved to Eclipse, and was working on a game. I joined and helped her with scripting. Early on I was back to being shy, and didnt really talk to anyone. Then one day I guess some people noticed me and started talking, and from then on your lovable psychotic queen emerged from her shell. Somehow I got a reputation for having a dungeon, and being a drama queen. I've also had my own army of followers. Pretty much you name it, its probably been said about me. Anyways... as for my skills. I know the basics about programming. I've done some VB, Java. I am trying to learn C#. I've been trying to work with the Unity engine. I am not creative at all. I can't even draw a stick guy!! But I do have good ideas. I have an idea for a survival zombie game... yeah yeah... zombies... but its really more about the survival and interactions with others. Unfortunately I am too air headed to concentrate and stay focused on a project... ohhhh butterfly!.... umm... so yeah I dont really ever get anything finished. And probably by reading this far you have noticed that I dont really string my thoughts together so eloquently. Oh well I can feel myself starting to lose track of what I want to say, so I'll just finish up real quick. I like role playing... i miss my rp buddies on Eclipse. I dont take things seriously so feel free to play with me.... just dont be suprised if i play rough. If you ever want help with something let me know and I'll do my best to help you. I guess that's it for now. If i remember stuff later i'll let you guys know!
  23. Ive installed VS2010 multiple times on different systems using the same key. It's been a while, but i think you just need to give an email address, and they send you a key. You can also get VS 2013 express for free too.
