Gibier Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 Hi guy could someone tell me where is the import/export map system is in the B5.1 of intersect?
1 jcsnider Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Import and Export needs to be completely rewritten. It will probably return but not until a later point in time (Maybe RC versions) Â Please do NOT do what bunny suggested. By copying maps in the DB you can end up with multiple maps sharing connections to adjacent maps or sharing the same events (not copies). At best you create inception, at worse you destroy your game.Â
0 Damian666 Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 I looked for it too, looks like they removed it O.o Â
0 Gibier Posted May 1, 2019 Author Posted May 1, 2019 @Damian666 no they can't have removed this feature, what it will be next? the event system? xD It was the best feature, now how i'll be able to create my instanced boss?Â
0 Damian666 Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 well, im on beta 6, and its nowhere to be seen man  I always used it to quickly create multiple pokemon centers, but it went poof  Â
0 Guest Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 yeah they were just like BOOM ded  the best thing to do if using SQLite is to go into a SQLite browser and duplicate it like that.  if using mysql just do the same but with mysql workbench  if you don't need to EXPORT or IMPORT it then just duplicate (copy/paste) it in the map file menu in the engine
0 Gibier Posted May 1, 2019 Author Posted May 1, 2019 @The Bunny Gamer how i may suppose to know which of my 300 map that i need to duplicate? Copy/paste isn't an option, i have 27 maps to export than reimporting them 3-4 time each.  My world is pretty huge: Spoiler https://s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/ascensiongamedev/filehost/0e96ea1f7b5ba26457647de34194f8b9.png   Edit: I'll just give them a random name.
0 Guest Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 Wait for new version sorry or try to delve into the databases
