  1. You are both right that it is not technically possible right now, but it is still fake-able. There was another question in the last week or two that asked exactly this that provided some details on how to achieve this even without source edits, but I will not be linking to it (anyone interested can search and already should have searched for it).
  2. Also I'm pretty sure both JC and myself run 10 to develop Intersect in the first place -- if there were a version of Windows not supported by Intersect it wouldn't be the newest one.
  3. @jcsnider Based upon this survey, I call for VB6 to be banned from AGD henceforth for the sake of the children.
  4. All 3 Visual Basic variants got their nuts kicked in. Even the hateful PHP was only at 58% dreaded. Surprised more people dread C over C++ though. :/ I personally like both and dread neither.
  5. You should actually provide the solution if you figured it out.
  6. Gibier is correct. The PvE/P counts are the only ones that might be added eventually, but the rest have too many different niche implementations. That being said, do not expect the counts until after source release.
  7. Requires owning a domain, but the point is that the "security" necessities you are referring to aren't solved by your proposed solutions, they just add a day max to writing a bot to automate this.
  8. I can easily bypass this verification restriction with an automated script too.
  9. For the reason Gibby provided doing this for this specific reason is pretty pointless. That being said there is a good reason to do this: email verification, so that a user can make sure their account was created with the correct email address so that if they ever forget their password they know they can recover their account. This would be the reason I would add this.

It's not built into the engine, but it might be possible, but very difficult to do and would also involve shutting the server down hourly.
  11. You've provided no useful information here at all that would aid us in helping you. Some helpful information would include: What distro you are using How you launched the server Logs, if any were generated Another good idea is to search through the Linux-related threads in the Answered Questions forum.
  12. The answer is in the screenshot. Specifically: The file you have open is neither of those configuration files.
  13. Also this. This file makes the error logs more verbose and helps us fix bugs.
  14. I'm pretty sure the other files were all extracted from the Editor and the Client. Pretty sure right now you only need the client executable and the resources directory.
  15. Usually it would be X1,Y1,X2,Y2 or Top,Right,Bottom,Left, but at least as far as it works in Beta 5 it's x,y,width, height and I assume it's the same order format in Beta 4.
  16. Ok Eggshell White, come show us your British tan. Oh wait you don't go outside either. :^) Depending on which part of my coat you look at I'm just as light though, or super dark.
  17. My only idea was that it was incorrectly using sound volume on the main menu, but you have both at 40 in the screenshot. If it's audible in game and not on the menu, but is audible on the menu for everyone else I'm really not sure what to say. There's no point in opening a bug report when we can't reproduce this.
  18. Send us your ogg file, take a screenshot of both the sound and music volume sliders in game. Not much we can do when the feature works for us unless we get detailed steps to reproduce what you're seeing.
  19. Here, another picture of me.
  20. So much for a picture thread...
  21. It works in Arcwyre, so I doubt this is a bug.
  22. I got an extended HDMI cable to plug into my 4K TV to work on this but I have yet to do so.
  23. I didn't entirely misspeak -- they can define how large they want the box to be, and can effectively put it anywhere.
  24. Like everything else in the UI you have full control over positioning.
