  1. @Kem Gotchu. And yeah, you're totally right. Just cause one Twelve-Year-Old got hurt feelings doesn't mean we need to turn this place into teletubby central. If he didn't want critique he shouldn't post his project. Simple as that.
  2. I may be misreading here but you said my comment annoyed you and then you argue that it's correct? lol
  3. I get the point of this. I really do. But if I don't like anything about their project I'm either going to not post or tell them I don't like it lol. None of the vets here would be as skilled as we are if we had only heard good feedback. Criticism has its place. It's up to the one being criticized to be able to cope with it and improve. This simply comes with maturity. I mean, look at Seth. Need I say more?
  4. I'm all for a Monthly Donation user group. To me the biggest problem for additional user groups would be to keep elitism at bay.
  5. It comes stock with RMXP and RMVX graphics to generate characters with. You can make your own assets and generate with those too however. And not to mention the easy layering and straight up pixel by pixel editing you can do with the push of a button.
  6. I bought GCH a good while ago. I would strongly recommend it.
  7. Hey thanks guys Gonna be getting more and more done as the weeks go by
  8. My content has been deemed too negative for this venue, so I shall be removing it. I wish you all good luck in your ventures, and encourage you to branch out and try new things... Bye.
  9. I could use a Logo for Dawn. Native color scheme with a sun peaking over the horizon behind it. Whenever you have time that is haha. Project thread: Game Name will be Dawn (changing from New Dawn)
  10. Good work Jc and Kibbs
  11. Version 1.0.0

    611 downloads

Classic VB6 Launcher from Eclipse. Tutorial on how to use it coming soon. Can be used for literally anything.
  12. I'll post a Launcher with Tutorial on how to use it in a bit.
  13. Going camping for a week. When I get back expect big updates for New Dawn <3

  14. If you wait for the source I can make offsets for you like I did with Skywyre.
  15. I should have an ORPG available for AGD to play soon. It's been a side-project of mine for quite a while (while I work on New Dawn) I'll try to get it up within a week perhaps.
  16. Haha, thanks man If you like that be sure to check out the Dual Wielding video. Tweaked rolling a bit and it looks nicer imo haha.
  17. Looks like that's what I'll do then! I'm thinking character creation is next. (Selecting your tribe is a key part of character creation) This is gonna be a long process so be prepared to wait a week or two for the next video, lads.
  18. Yep! Spirit (basically your mana), EXP, Health, and Stamina are all in. Everything but EXP is visible and working as of now. Next I think I'm going to work on more AI stuff or maybe start work on some dialogue/quest stuff. Then again I may want to do the Tribe functions. Ugh I'm at a loss right now.
  19. Hey thanks man. I hope to keep ya'll entertained haha.
  20. Oh, thought I had responded to this xD Thanks Kibbelz
  21. Pretty exciting! (at least for me haha) Got skills in and working, albeit without custom icons haha. Anywho, I'm going to be uploading all New Dawn videos to my friend's channel to help em off the ground! It's actually a group of friends but they upload some silliness every now and then and you may even see me in a video or two in the future. Be sure to check em out and also leave me some feedback on what I can improve
  22. So, Auto-tiling is simply the computer doing tedious tiling for you. Now if you take a look at those sand-in-grass tiles you were using in that video, you can see that, normally, there would be no way to make a perfect square larger than 2x2 using those tiles on their own. What auto-tiling does is grab portions of each tile and stitch them together giving the appearance of a seamless portion of tiles on your map. Now, that first tile you selected in your video, the small "patch" of sand. Click that, and then in dropbox right above that in the editor, click and select Autotile. Then play around with the tiles on the map
