  1. I got Diamond this season.
  2. Hey guys! Big news!!! So, as most of you all know, the plan for Life Forge was to cease development in it's current form and remake the entire game in a new engine. Things have changed! While we still intend on remaking this game in a new engine, we will not be ceasing current Life Forge development to do so. The new Life Forge will most likely be out 2018 Q2 (just spitballing here). So! A new update to Life Forge will be coming out on Monday! Servers are down until then! This update will add a functioning auto-updater so we can all stay up to date with Life Forge! Starting Monday, myself and the team will be starting work on a new Content update! This will add everything from new quests, monsters, and items, to balance changes and new fixes. The PvP tournament will still be on, and we intend on giving out rewards for the top 3! We on the Life Forge team thank you endlessly for the amount of support you have given us, and we can't wait to continue to give you free Life Forge updates!!! We will be moving forward with our plans for Kickstarter and Steam as well! Just for those of you who were wondering! Thanks again, stay tuned! ~Life Forge Team
  3. Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates of late! So, it's high time we explain our grand plan moving forward! First of all let me send out a big thanks from our entire team to all those who played our Christmas Alpha Test, helping us find bugs, balance issues, and everything in between! It helps us more than you can all imagine! Now, onto the news! ~Rewards~ For all those that played our Christmas Alpha Test and are worried about us moving to a new engine: fear not. Your time has not been wasted! Depending on how long you have played, what level you are, what items you've acquired, etc etc, you will be placed into a certain tier. These tiers will carry over to our new engine. The rewards for each will be announced before too long, but believe us, they'll be worth it! Also, to all who have purchased any cash items in our Christmas Alpha Test, you will be receiving these same items once the game in the new engine goes live! (Yes, even one time use items like the World Blessings!) ~Development Logs~ You'll be able to look forward to weekly development logs on Life Forge every Friday! These will range from overviews on new areas, features, etc. We can't wait to show you what we're working on! ~PvP Tournament!~ Lastly, we'll be wrapping our Christmas Alpha Test with a PvP Tournament to be announced at a later date! The winner shall receive some grand prizes when going into the new engine's game. Can't wait? Neither can we! All in all, we can't wait to be sharing our game with you, and we're looking to get it out as soon as we can! -Life Forge Team
  4. The new Gandor, by our very own, Zetasis! Obviously some things may change, but there she is!
  5. We were using my custom version of Eclipse, but now we're going to be switching to Intersect and porting over our features when Open-source hits.
  6. Heyo! So today the team have been busy mapping the remastered world of Life Forge for the new engine! Currently we're working on Gandor and it's surrounding areas, and this now includes a vast expansion to the "Meadow": Squeakshire! This vast, overgrown network of trees is home to humanoid vermin-like creatures: Mouselings! (this is but a small segment) We can't wait to update you on all the latest info and progress for Life Forge, so be sure to stay tuned! ALSO In terms of this December Alpha test, we've decided to keep it running for another week! Enjoy!
  7. Looks very MUD like. Looking forward to trying it
  8. Never said we had to
  9. Personally I think it looks like it's from Virtual Villagers, but to each their own I guess. Keep it up.
  10. Loving the progress man. Keep it up!
  11. Looks a bit like High-Res Orake. I like the trees though.
  12. Our Christmas play test is out right now haha. You can take a look and see how it plays

We can't wait to have you all online and playing Life Forge with us! With this release time, we're also packing another Event similar to our Halloween Event! This time, though, it's Christmas!!! 19. Hey guys! So for this dev log, (it's gonna be small) we'll be talking about the Forgotten Spire! This tower lies somewhere in the Duskin Desert, and requires a special item to get into. In the Forgotten Spire you'll find a great many things, but on a certain floor, you'll have the chance to obtain a flying Desert Roc mount: Also, our exclusive Founder's Mount for all those who Pledge $15 or more to our upcoming Kickstarter (and any players who purchased Founder's Packs for any of our previous games) the Green Raptor: All this and more awaits in the next Alpha Test, a date for which is coming soon!
  20. Hey guys! Yet another Dev Log ~Disaster!~ Due to real life, our artist and Co-Developer Zetasis will be taking a break from Dev for a while. He may be able to do something here and there, but until things work themselves out, it'll be yours truly leading the charge into new Content. And on that note: ~Armistin~ The Desert dwelling of Armistin, home to the Ember Knights, is being worked on extensively. This is the second settlement in Life Forge, and as such, it's gonna be very important. And for those of you who wanted to know, this is what an Ember Knight looks like: Anywho, that's it for right now! We can't wait to show you what's in-game now
  21. Happy to see ya man. Glad you got my link lol.
  22. @Dr.House Awesome! Thanks for the tips! And just so ya know those last two pics aren't mine or of my work haha. Those are just other Eclipse style games that are up. Our "competition" haha.
  23. Wait wait, the only map shown here that's even remotely symmetrical is the latest map, and it's supposed to look like that. My other question is how are the maps symmetrical AND very random. Just curious here. Again, the term symmetry is brought up but I completely fail to see it aside from the Desert sample. Care to enlighten me on this? Also I found that there are some great examples of contrast in some of these maps, namely the shoreline and the "peaks". I can see the point about the purple flowers in the desert map, they're a collectible resource and I did scatter them semi-randomly so I'll probably go back and fix that up, but you're speaking of this grand "composition" when you're only getting a 3rd or 4th or even 5th of the total map in these screenshots. It's the opening notes of a Mozart piece, not the grand symphonic chorus. I'd actually like some more advice as I can't seem to gleam any actual advice from the above text other than 1. Look at the map as a whole. 2. Don't place debris so randomly. and 3. Don't be symmetrical (which again, only persists on the Desert sample as intended) Any answers would be appreciated. Thank you.
  24. Could you give us a couple pointers? Can't wait to see you in game
