Is there a base attack skill?

Welcome to yet another one of my questions xD anyway on to the question. When I launch the client and create a enemy and play as a warrior is there a attack that you can use that isn't a skill like a basic attack based on attack power ect.? Also is there a way to if there is to make your character auto attack so they attack automatically instead of you having to spam it?

Basic attacks are broken in 1.3 but fixed for the 1.4 alpha update. They are activated by the action key (e or left click)

 

There will not be auto attacking in Intersect unless it is custom coded when the source is released.
