Probably me again but I think most of us feel that criticism should be given fairly unfiltered to help them improve their game (given as a suggestion where possible) and that this is really an art form where ultimately you will always receive criticism no matter what you make as there are so many people who want to be negative for the sake of being negative and you drown them out, do you think creators like Toby Fox (maker of undertale) would have gotten where they are now if they had taken all hate negatively and given up on things anyone hated? Gaming is and always has been highly critiqued by gamers (look at no man's sky) and some hate is fair most is not and you generally have to either ignore haters or where applicable take it and improve on it and ultimately as you said yourself whoever you are talking about is only one person and you shouldn't judge a whole community for one person's actions. *end of inspirational rant hybrid thing*

@Zetasis Thanks for the correction I think they are one of the ones that ships with xp not vx and MACK is a broad term now used for a general sprite of that design and in general most thing in here come from rpg maker xp or vx ace so can't be used commercially e.g chests,boulders,torches,switches,traps ect. but doesn't really matter to be honest as he's making his own stuff (well his artist is) @Mikal Burrows The idea of using a bible passage as a intro if I saw it in a game (I have) I generally see it as low effort and is kind of a turn off imo but that's just me idk it's all up to you

@Mikal Burrows The original tilesets are sourced from rpg maker xp so not free to use :/ and all sounds good and devs normally call god gaia as it's public domain as it's a real name used for gods in the past

@Mikal Burrows Doing debugging rn so can't say much but maybe call god something else so it doesn't seem so biblical like gaia or something and add a screenshot of ingame absolutely anything is fine I'm talking basic enemy 1 spell and just a base as it will allow us to talk about the art style and changes/tweaks you could make

@Kem *PREPARE FOR A VERY OPINIONATED RANT* Not to come off as rude but this seems more of a halucagenic (how the hell do you spell that word xD) affect where you see a problem where no one else sees one existing as generally I don't even notice things like someone's name colour or title e.g before checking I thought u were a contributor I agree that donators and contributors being seperate ranks would be a good idea but like the thing with post count people can just post for a high post count or in the contributor case just make a random set of 4x4 tiles then get the rank it would be fairly mundane imo and whilst this may come off as an attack you really shouldn't try to manipulate criticism of your ideologies by saying 'having a differring opinion proves my point' it seems like something a toddler would say in a argument to try and stop the other toddler complaining about how they got one less oreo. *END OF EXTREMELY OPINIONATED RANT YOU SHOULDN'T CARE ABOUT* Edit: @Kibbelz You mentioned tesco you are now 100x cooler to me xD brought pop tarts from there today (I assume you guys have pop tarts too?)
