How can i create homing projectiles for Intersect Engine?

Hello apparently it's not possible without modifying source code, the question have been answered before in another post. There's also a request for that on Github but seems not to be a feature that will be implemented soon.

This is the source/plugins request section. Fair game here.. although I am not overly optimisitc.
