How do I connect Maps?

Sorry guys I realize that i'm horrible at using intersect and this is my first day using it, but how would I connect to maps? for this I mean if I walk to the edge of one map I would like to get teleported to another one. I know this is possible I just don't quite know how.

@JasonTGF Double click the transparent border on one of the edges of your map and it will prompt you to create an additional map. This will connect the map on which ever side you choose.

Double click the map next to the map you're working on (you can do this in the map grid tab also) it will ask if you want to create a connected map.

@JasonTGF It's fine xD I asked if the engine was broken when I didn't realise that you had to run the server first when I joined and kem and mikal's answers are correct
