    You mean the extension? .PNG
  2. Giligis's post in Problem to play two players was marked as the answer
You will have to port forward port 4500 in order for people to play your game and have others connect. Visit http://www.portforward.com and select your router, it will tell you how to port forward for your specific router. When it asks you to put another port, you need to ignore it and put 4500. Once you've done that, go to http://www.whatismyip.com and you'll need to go into the config.xml, open it with notepad, and change the IP to your public IP address, the one the website gives you. Save it, zip it up, and send it to your friend. It should be online now.
  3. Giligis's post in How do I make an enemy? was marked as the answer
I don't believe there is a tutorial for something like that at this particular moment, however, its pretty easy. You'll have to go into the Intersect editor and create a monster under "NPC Editor", once you've created a monster, you go into the Map Editor and and add the NPC you just created into the game, on that map.
  4. Giligis's post in Brown sprite backgrounds was marked as the answer
You have to make them transparent, and remove the background. Its easy to do so, use Paint.NET or Gimp. I personally prefer Gimp. Use the "Magic Wand" tool, and hit Delete on your keyboard, easy way to remove that background and make it transparent.
  5. Giligis's post in website links in game? was marked as the answer
Think it has to be a source edit. You could always put it on the GUI itself, but it won't be a clickable link.
  6. Giligis's post in Bartering system? was marked as the answer
This would require the source, which will be available when intersect is out of beta. That being said, I love the idea!
  7. Giligis's post in some questions about events was marked as the answer
I believe what you are looking for is a crafting system, which both Intersect and Orion have, however you can still do this method if you'd like.

Set the graphic to campfire, use the event to open shop "Campfire", go into shop editor and make raw fish for cooked fish and walah! But like I said seems you want crafting which is already implemented.
  8. Giligis's post in Ideal Server Host was marked as the answer
As I can assume since its in the Intersect section, that you are using Intersect XD As far as specific server hosts go, I would have no idea, however, Intersect server can run on linux. Therefore, you should buy a linux based host, as it would be much cheaper than lets say, a windows host.

Pulled this from another website: offers good insight!

  10. Giligis's post in Transparence problem was marked as the answer
I believe this is a bug in the 2nd or 1st beta and will be fixed in the next beta. There's a hotfix around here I'll try to find it!

    Edit: @Meto.Z
What's weird is the fact that you're on beta 2 and it's not fixed. This problem should have been addressed when upgrading to beta 2 from beta 1. (Beta 1 is confirmed when the bug occurred).
  11. Giligis's post in [Request] Pokemon Engine was marked as the answer
Everything is here except trainer battles and move animations. Don't listen to them up top
THIS ENGINE IS MADE IN VISUAL BASIC 6, A DISCONTINUED LANGUAGE FROM MICROSOFT, feel free to use it anyway lol
Jc will also be releasing a Pokemon engine for Intersect after Intersect is completely done, but we are super far away from that point. Also, I have a documented read me for the server and client if you have trouble using it. Most commands are /editmap /editpokemon etc etc
  12. Giligis's post in Sounds bug? was marked as the answer
Yes, Intersect currently only supports .MP3 at the moment, as I just confirmed with JC

  14. Giligis's post in max active players per map? was marked as the answer
We never really tried, we don't have the amount of people to try, so I guess the best bet is to try it and see what happens, if there is bottlenecks, I assume JC can/will handle them.
  15. Giligis's post in Why the equipements don't affect ? was marked as the answer
@Meto.Z You can continue creating your game, and the development team will make sure EVERYTHING will carries over to the new version of Intersect, ALWAYS, and I mean everything. Resources, quests, etc.

The reason equipment doesn't affect anything is because it is a bug, it is not supposed to be like that. Like phenomenal said, it should be addressed in a newer version.
  16. Giligis's post in Tile/Sprite Packer? was marked as the answer
Pretty sure there's a template for it, it should be rather easy if you use a GFX program that can make a grid, then make the grid 32x64 and place then evenly so that they would line up, not too bad, but is time consuming Good luck! @swiftsword7
  17. Giligis's post in Login problems when editor isnt open was marked as the answer
Seems the only fix is to continually open and close the application and it will eventually work. He sheds some light on what might cause this error. I'll let JC know to look into it if he hasn't already.

  19. Giligis's post in Problems with animations was marked as the answer
Quite easy, if you'd like an animation to play at his feet easiest way to do so is take a Sprite sheet and mark where the feet are, and pixel the animations over it then and remove the feet. Tadah, now you have just the animation and it's aligned at the sprites feet.
  20. Giligis's post in Publishing the Game? was marked as the answer
Download winrar, once you've done that, right click your "Client" folder on the desktop and hit add to archive, either .zip or .rar.
Once you've done that, upload your folder to Mediafire.com and give them the download link.
To portforward, check out this guide.
