Intersect is literally eating CPU

Stan

Question

As the title says. In the attached video, you will be able to see that the use of cpu is up to 90% in fullscreen, and that the cpu is overheating. The FPS are incredibly low and the only way it seems to fix it is by downgrading the resolution, and even there, the cpu barely changes.

Does someone know why it could be happening? Has anyone experienced this issue before? If so, I would greatly appreciate any advice or solutions you may have to offer.

Thank you for your help.
