Video moved to top post. Hey everyone. Just finished my second tutorial on the Intersect game engine. I got a real microphone so it should sound better. I still can't seem to shake the ummm thing but I will work on it, lol. Please give me a like and maybe even a comment on YouTube. As Intersect grows I also want to grow and contribute to it's success.

Thanks man! Well noted on the ummms, lol. I am aware of it and hope to have a much better quality tutorial out soon.

I hope to have #2 Creating your character and first map later today. Thanks for the support.

Published on Jan 4, 2017 Just a quick introduction to the 2D game engine Intersect. No coding required but all you open source C# programmers will love it just as much. Current version is alpha 1.9. UPDATE: Beta v2 is now out. You can still use the first 4 tutorials after you download the new Beta 2 version. I hope to update soon. Table Of Contents 1.Introduction 2. Installing and Running Intersect 3. Editing your first start characters and classes 4. Mapping Part 1 This tutorial series will walk you through every aspect of downloading and installing the game engine to finally creating a customized world of your very own. As Intersect grows and moves into its Beta version I too will grow and move into better quality videos. I have already invested a lot of time and effort into learning how to use the best software and editing tools that I can. These videos are a lot of work even at this early stage so please bear with me as we all grow together. Hey everyone. Just finished my second tutorial on the Intersect game engine. Thanks man. I plan to continue to bring to my fans that same nostalgic feel they have grown to love. I am improving on the graphics in small ways but Ambardia will continue to have that same look and feel. It's a real pleasure to see people logging into the old game too. Sometimes I come home from work and flip on the monitor and it always brings a smile to my face when I see some people playing. I really thing this new engine just might be the boost we need to get back a good player base and see new growth.

Hey everyone. Here is a little video walk through showing my work with Intersect. I know its not a great video but maybe in the future I might do better. You have to start some where. I know watching vids are a huge help to me so here it is.

Oh my god! Worked perfect, thanks. Now I have new tools.
-
I figured. Also, I need the resource to use take a raw fish from my inventory and use the skill to cook it.
-
How do I add a new tool to resources? There is an axe, fishing pole, pick axe and a shovel. How do I add more?
-
Finally getting deep into the guts of the editor. The ability to control alpha channeled lighting is in my opinion one of the best features so far. Well done!

Welcome to Ambardias new adventure my friend!
-
Fantastic! Can't wait till beta.
-
I realized finally that sometimes I have to restart the server in order for some things, like resources to start working.
-
Thanks! I have a long way to go.
-
Newest map.
-
Thanks! I figured it was event driven but since I don't code much I figured I would ask.
-
I created a shop. How do I add it to my map? I don't see it in attributes.
-
I have found that if you have your cursor on the item you can not pick it up. You have to move your cursor off the item then stand on the item and left click.
-
Great work, thank you so much. I will make sure you are in my credits.

Happy holidays everyone!

Publisher: Ambardia Productions using EO modified game engine. DOCK WITH SPACE STATIONS Platforms: PC BUILD CUSTOMIZED SPACE SHIPS Genre: 2D ISO Graphics, Fantasy Space Status: Closed Alpha Facebook: Ambardia Reborn Ambardia Online is a VB6 MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) operated by Ambardia Productions. It is a windows-based 2D game with beautifully rendered 3D graphics. Ambardia was created by James Newkirk and a talented group of developers such as Richy, dg1423, Anna Comnena, Darkkiller, Robin Peris, JC Denton Denton and Kaitol as well as a large group of dedicated alpha and beta testers. Ambardia takes place in the fantasy-space realm of Ambardia, which is divided into several different regions, and cities. Players can travel throughout Ambardia by space ship, by using worm holes and devices, or mechanical means of transportation such as ships or warp speed. Each region offers different types of enemies, materials, and quests to challenge players. Unlike many other MMORPGs, there is no linear path that must be followed setting their own goals and objectives. Players can combat both enemies and other players, complete quests, or increase their experience in any of the available skills. Players interact with each other through trading, chatting, or playing combative or cooperative mini-games. History and Development Ambardia began its history as a fan site for many other popular MMORPG games. As the name of Ambard grew in the gaming community over the next 6 years so to did the desire to produce its own online realm. On August 16, 2007 the production of Ambardia Online began. On October 21st just two months later Ambardia Online Alpha Version 1 was released to open testing. Using isometric graphics from Reiner Prokein, Ambardia set a new standard of 2D gaming with 3d rendered graphics. As a full time commercial graphic designer, Ambard worked on a complete restructuring of the game with the assistance of his close friend, Richy R. Many of Reiner Prokeins graphics were replaced by a mix of custom and purchased 3D graphics. Ambardias popularity began to grow when dg1423 began working on the project to help out with coding issues and a new quest structure of custom menu's. This freed Ambard and Richy up to concentrate more on mapping and scripting. It was not long before Richy began to master the scripting code and introduced the games first mini adventure, The 21 Gates. To support Ambardia's free content, advertisements appear throughout its extensive web site and a donation rewards system has been established. Server Ambardia Galactic Empires will be run 24/7 on its own custom built P4 server. Administrators from around the world have full access to the server at any time to continue to develop and improve the game. Ambardia Galactic Empires is now being developed (12/22/2016) Using the Intersect Game Engine. Gameplay

How do you make resources work? I made the resource. I made the tool. The resource has HP's and a reward. I just can't seem to collect the resource.

Ok, Ill see if I can update this win 7 machine to newer directX and net framework. The black screen is what actually happens on my windows 10 machine however. I know it will get resolved and I am not about to jump ship. Can't wait till version 2 I checked my machine and i meet the DirectX and Met Framework requirements. I play with it some more

It fails on windows XP it fails on windows 7 and it fails on windows 10. The only machine it worked on was my $1000.00 gaming laptop wich I no longer have. I have redownloaded the engine and started fresh on each machine. Are there some kind of lib files or something I need?
