Untested About plugins system.

Greetings, I am a recent addition to the Intersect community and I see a lot of potential in this 2D engine. However, I understand that there are a group of main features that are the main goal of long-term development, leaving other functions to implement from source or through plugins. Regarding the latter, I recently read that there was the possibility of adding plugins which is ideal for incorporating extra content that is not in the main branch. Can you tell me how this plugin system works and if there is a repository where the official ones or those created by the community are stored? Thanks in advance.
