Hello. How to implement the sound of the character's steps?

Hello a way to do that is to create an event which detect the player coordinates permanently. With a condition that checks if the player x or the player y change, it play the step sound. But it may not be cool with the engine because it's quite an infinite loop event...

hello, this idea has had me thinking alot but i have a small brain and cant find a way to get this to work, 

 

i hope some one with a bigger brain will chime in and help us!

 

id love this in my project!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
