Eagle Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 what are the default transparent colors and how do I set new ones, or can I even do that? Thanks guys~ Eagle, Agoraphobic 1
0 Agoraphobic Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 The older Rpg Maker engines required a certain colored background; however, as JC said we actually need to make the background transparent for Intersect. I personally use Gimp, so my instructions are with it.  1) Open "picture.png" with Gimp. 2) Go to the toolbar up top: Layer -> Transparency -> Add Alpha Channel 3) Go to toolbar up top: Tools -> Selection Tools -> By Colors -> Click the background -> hit the Delete Key 4) File -> Overwrite or Export as  The background should be checkered like this: Â
0 jcsnider Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 You open your tilesets in Photoshop, Paint.net, Gimp, or anything that isn't ms paint really and you remove the color you want to be transparent so it is ACTUALLY transparent. Save your tilesets, images, etc as .pngs and throw them into the engine.
