Download a free program like Gimp (or use Photoshop if you have it) and make the background transparent.
Â
·        Download Gimp and open the PNG file(s).
·        Go to Layer – Transparency and Click Add Alpha Channel.
·        Go to Tools – Selection Tools- and Click By Color Select.
·        Click The Background Color – Hit Delete
·        The background now should be a checkered black and grey.
·        Check to Make Sure Sprite wasn’t damaged by deletion of same color.
·        File - Save. (Note This can be done for Icons, Tilesets, or any PNG file you are using)

No worries, we all started here.
The reason you are getting a white border is because the Icon itself has a white border below the pink background and grey horn. Same issues with the NPCs I would wager. The Icons most likely can be resized, but for the NPCS (and perhaps some icons), you need to add an alpha channel and make the background transparent.
Â
Icon Resize
1)Â Â Â Â Â Resize the horn icon to remove the white border at the bottom. Depending on how many icons you have that are like this, it may take a while.
OR
2)Â Â Â Â Â You can also resize them to 32x32 and make sure the entire 32x32 is filled with the horn and pink background.
 Just like this.
Â
Adding Alpha Transparency to a PNG:
Â
3)Â Â Â Â Â Download a free program like Gimp (or use Photoshop if you have it) and make the background transparent.
(Note This can be done for Icons, Tilesets, or any PNG file you are using)
Â
Â
Hopefully this will help you out.

Agoraphobic's post in Attack animation. was marked as the answer
The showing of equipment on a character sprite are known as paperdolls. When you create a piece of equipment, you can also choose a paperdoll from the paperdoll folder for it to show when said equipment is equipped. It is important they match up with the sprite or you will get various degrees of the sprite clipping through the armor or weapons floating.

Hey, you will need to wait until the source is released. It will be an easy addition for a sound or animation to play on death.

Eventing a Harvest Moon style game is an insane amount of work. Be sure you know how to utilize switches, variables, conditional branches, and pages before tackling it.
Â
On a good note, if you get the first event perfectly done, you can copy paste it; however, you will have to change the Switches or Variables for each plot of land.

Agoraphobic's post in Setting Transparent Color on tiles was marked as the answer
The older Rpg Maker engines required a certain colored background; however, as JC said we actually need to make the background transparent for Intersect. I personally use Gimp, so my instructions are with it.
Â
1) Open "picture.png" with Gimp.
2) Go to the toolbar up top: Layer -> Transparency -> Add Alpha Channel
3) Go to toolbar up top:Â Tools -> Selection Tools -> By Colors -> Click the background -> hit the Delete Key
4) File -> Overwrite or Export as
Â
The background should be checkered like this:

Agoraphobic's post in How to change enemy mob level was marked as the answer
Monsters do not have a level, you set how powerful they are by stats. What you can do is name them "Monster Level 3", and generate stats equal to the power of what you want a monster of that level to be.

1) Create a Condition List.
2) Place all Conditions you want within that one list.
3) Save and it is done.

1. Yes.
2. Right Click on the "Intersect Client" then go down to rename and change its name.
3. Music needs to be placed in:Â Client and Editor / Resources / MusicÂ
You need to go to Map Properties to set the song for each map. You can also use Events to change the song playing.
4. You need to put Sound Effects in: Client and editor / Resources / Sounds
You then can assign sounds to weapons, spells, etc. You can also use Events to play sounds for traps, doors, etc. Â
5. *Not sure on this one, will get back to you.
