Nightmist Legacy is a free-to-play, browser-based fantasy MUD that brings the depth and atmosphere of classic text-based role-playing games into a more accessible modern format. Set within a vast and evolving fantasy world, players can create their own character, choose from a range of races and classes, and begin a journey filled with dangerous creatures, mysterious locations, challenging quests and valuable treasures.

Explore bustling towns, shadowy forests, ancient tunnels, forgotten ruins, deserts, caves and dungeons as you uncover the history and secrets of the world. Along the way, you will meet memorable characters, discover hidden areas, acquire powerful weapons and armour, and face increasingly difficult enemies. Character progression is built around combat, exploration, equipment, abilities and careful preparation, allowing players to develop their adventurer in a way that suits their preferred style of play.

Nightmist Legacy retains the social and strategic spirit of a traditional multiplayer MUD while presenting the game through a modern graphical browser interface.
