  1. I do believe my router is a router + firewall but it is also a 2 in 1 router and a modem. I checked the wan setup and this is what it displayed.
  2. Thanks for the tip, I'll be sure not to double post again. My apologies for double posting @jcsnider. As for the wrong port or IP I have double checked them numerous amounts of times I do believe they are correct, however, the error reads Error: I could not see your service on 24.164.2.84 on port (4500) "Could not SEE your service." The word that stands out to me is see which leads me to belive that JC maybe right of me having a rare case of having to portforward my modem to my router.
  3. @jcsnider I have my firewall and antivirus disabled. It could be possible that my case is a rare case. How would I go about accessing my modem config? @John I don't see how changing the host value in the config file to localhost will allow other users to connect from an outside network. I believe my problem has nothing to do with the config file seeing how when checking my ports I get an error saying could not connect to service, reason: connection refused. I believe it's something to do with my router accepting the connection.
  4. Hello, AGD community. I've been able to forward my ports in the past to put my game online for people on an outside network to connect and play, but for some reason I have not been able to open up the 4500 port for Intersect. - I've given my computer a static IP. - I've accessed my default gateway and set up the forward for port 4500 using the same IP that I made static. - My config.xml file is using the same port I forwarded. When I go to check if my ports it read back this error: I'm really not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I've been raiding google for the past 5 hours for an answer. Please, will someone help guide me into forwarding my ports properly and getting my game online for others on an outside network can connect?

@PhenomenalDevAgreed, I don't fully like the idea of using a bible passage as an intro which is why I was hesitant to post this thread. I'll take your thoughts into consideration, and possibly write up a new intro.

@PhenomenalDev Good looks on informing me about the original tilesets, however I wasn't planning on using them. @Zetasis Thank you for the feedback, It's much appreciated. I was hesitant to release this thread while using Genesis as the lore. The lore is an exact copy of the first chapter of Genesis. I figured by using Genesis as a starting point, it would make an amazing cut scene intro into the game before you wake from your slumber and are tossed into the absolute most twisted adventure of your life time. I don't plan on making any other biblical references other than the intro. I felt as if the the beginning of time was the best place to start, It gave me a blank slate for a story that sends you through an emotional roller coaster with twist and turns that'll have you weeping and laughing at the same time.

@PhenomenalDev Thank you for the feed back! I agree with you on the changing gods name, I'm terrible at thinking of names though. Our pixel artist is currently working on some custom tile sets. As of right now Vu Du Kein has the original tile sets that were released with Intersect Alpha 1.9. When I receive the new art from our pixel artist I will be sure to make at least one small map to show off the custom art work. In game screenshots will be posted soon.

    Vu Du kein [WIP]

Vu Du Kein is a fantasy ORPG based on the mechanics of astrological science. When creating a character you choose a display name and a class. Note: "your CLASS will decide your element, (AKA: TEAM/FACTION.) and attributes." You are given 12 character slots. You may start out by choosing 1 of 12 classes. As the game progresses you will be able to prestige your account, this allows you to unlock an additional character slot. A new character and class can now be obtained and fight along side you, following you around while assisting you through out the game, in and out of battle. You will be able to unlock all 12 classes and play as multiple classes simultaneously while switching from character to character to take control and battle with that class, (But watch out switching a class can cost a hefty amount of mana.) However, you will only be able to venture out with a max of 4 characters at a time. Your stats are set based upon your attribute and can only increase when your characters level increases. You can not increase the stats manually, however, they can be modified by collecting and applying gear to your character. Change Log: Intro: Road Map: Screenshots: Videos: Features: Engine: Credits:
  10. Thanks @PhenomenalDev!
  11. @Kibbelz Thank you! I'm excited to get something rolling! I will make a [WIP] post for my project in a couple of days.
  12. Hello everyone! My name is Mikal Burrows, I am 22 years young and I live in the United States. Starting at the age of 11 I began to learn how to develop websites leading me to land a job with Black Wall Technologies as a web developer. I've been in and out of the Eclipse Forums for a couple years, but was never 100% ready to be engulfed in a large ORPG project due to a very strict work schedule. Currently I trade Foreign and Domestic Currencies, which allows me to work from home and on my own time freeing up my schedule. Now I have plenty of time to start working on a new ORPG project, so expect to see a lot more of me.
