Way I would do it would be purely for fun with no reward really so there's no point in cheating. However what I planned on doing is taking a screenshot at the end of every day, week, etc, and posting your badges, your money, and the Pokemon team your with, with a lil synopsis of where you are in the story. Also take an ss of your pokedex. Can start at Fire Red and eventually move into new roms. I would hate to see people cheat it's just an honor system really. Maybe have certain cheats available different days, like one day master balls is enabled but then the next day it's walk through walls so you can't use master balls. Would have to be a super honor system. Or we can go no cheats.

Out of curiosity, who would be interested in taking part in a "rom contest" where we see who can progress through Fire Red rom the quickest, best, etc. With certain emulators we could potentially trade or battle, something anyone would be interested in?

Trading works, except for the actual getting the pokemon, screens are all done etc, just need to actually TRADE, I didn't make the engine though, and SherwiN sadly never completed it :S And oh yeah, I'll upload screenshots too!

So since Kasplant posted PokeEngine (the uncompiled version) I decided to release and just create a post of the engine I currently have that is compiled, documented, and ready to go if you are trying to create a Pokemon MMO for the Pokemon Gold series, however, if you are not, it is easily changeable. The GUI in-battle was also changed for Gold style, but can easily be changed as well. This engine is programmed in Visual Basic 6 using the base "Eclipse Origins" by Robin Perris. My version is very different, I changed a lot. It's equipped with graphics for Gold. So only covers Kanto and Johto Pokemon, and of course, graphics are are outdated but it has everything you need for a gold re-make, and is easy to change the things you need to to make it up to date, I can still post it if you'd like. I've used this engine, if you need help, ask. Commands are as follows: /admin (might be /adminpanel) /editmap /editpokemon /edititem etc etc, if this is the uncompiled version ( I have no downloaded it, so I can't tell), I have an already compiled version.

I like it, its out of the way too, doesn't look pushy or too much "in your face". I suppose it doesn't cover the cost for the ECLIPSE TAKEOVER!!!! XD I also voted no, donations can be essential to building a website, and the developers should be rewarded from time to time for the time and effort they put in, just my opinion. I'll be donating soon ^^
