Forgot password not doing anything

Hello all. I can't for the life of me figure out why nothing happens after submitting a new password while using the forgot password feature. The email goes through no problem, get the reset code, type it into the client, type in new password, hit "submit" and nothing. Nothing at all! Not even an error log report. Please help!

That's odd, does the client say the password is changed or does nothing happen at all after pressing the button?

Which version are you using and have you tried to see if the packet arrives at the server at least?

No problem! And I can see the confusion happening because we never technically promoted b7 to stable despite it basically being our more stable release.

Nothing happens at all. I have not edited the source code ever but I have migrated the player dB to mysql. Could this have something to do with it?

using 0.6.2.458

i have not seen evidence of the packet arriving but i also might not be looking in the right place. there's nothing being logged about it anywhere that i can find

Could you try this using the prerelease branch? 

I believe there were some fixes regarding password recovery in that version and 6.2 is not actively developed anymore.

this did the trick!! thank you so much! I had no idea I was using such an outdated version. I'm very excited about guilds now! Haha. Thanks again
