Removing Players Items in server

I have just downloaded, and very much love the look of this.

 

What i would like to know is there a way to remove items from a players inventory from the server side?

ok thanks so much i only just started messing with this:)have my game idea!  think it is what i been looking for just need to make it all work and not waste too much time
