  1. Oh wow, really? I just tried on my laptop and it wont work. Must be a thing where I cant connect from my own network I guess? But I can see it works for others so thank you so muchhh jc!!!
  2. I made everything fit in 1 image I feel very proud of this picture lol. So this is what it looks like when I got everything running fine (without ping open..), people can't connect :////

Ok thanks about the ip info I have no-ip updater on my pc not currently running since my server is down atm (since no one can join anyway) as soon as i open the server and noip the ddns automatically changes to the right public ip but it still doesnt work. So thats why its not the same right now
  4. I normally do, but the filehost page was bugged for me for some reason. I cut out the ip because I thought I shouldnt publicly show it on the internet but here. Port forwarding: Ipconfig command: Good filehost worked this time *the ip used above is ipv4: 192.xxx.xx.106 *Scratched numbers in above images are identical And here is when running the server (shows public ip):

  6. I'm actually in my home so no public wifi thats being blocked. Tho, what I found is a firewall enabled onto the wan interface my server uses (the ppp1.1)for intersect: I disabled it, just to see, than ran my server again. I went on my 2nd pc to try out the connection, and it finaaaaaally worked (once). No more could not connect message, so I told myself good that was the problem and its fixed... but then, a few seconds later my hole internet crashed lol and my router went down. So I rebooted it. After, I tried logging in and the same thing started happening, could not connect, plus, the wifi crashed again, so I rebooted it like 20 times but everytime i ran the server it made my wifi crash lol. So I checked the settings again and the firewall was still disabled. I decided to call my isp and after an hour+ of talking he said he couldnt stabilise my wifi and he doesnt know why its crashing lol so obv it was the server making it crash but idk why. So then later I turned the firewall back on in the wan interface and everything went back to normal I can use the server, no wifi crash, port is open and 'game is accessible to the public' (it actually isnt) and I can only use it locally. Any ideas? To me thats too strange I have no idea whats causing all this. Ty (for ur help jc)

Obviously doesnt show that its connected but im not sure if it means something, wouldnt be in Logs for nothing. Other players cannot connect, it says could not connect to server. Tho i can 100% assure that it used to work and that portforwarding is fine upnp is on and working firewall is disabled and has exceptions for intersect. Thanks Oh and of course the ip in the .config is right. Wouldnt use localhost on other machines .. I use a ddns address from no-ip which is enabled and working, even tried the ip alone but same result. canyouseeme.org shows my port is open and working.
  9. Hello I want to set the screen resolution to fullscreen by default and in something other than 800x600. How do I make players that open the game for the first time to hop in 1280x720 or 1280x1024.. Plus in 800x600 you get a much smaller camera view. I don't mind if players change their settings to 800x600 but ew I really don't want it by default.   10. That actually 'sounds' so much simpler is it possible at this time or when source is out? Edit: Just realised you still need to make communication with the server, maybe make some sort of shop in-game if possible?
  11. Alright, so it will be possible? And about memberships, that might sound silly.. but let's say you pay for member, the site unlocks a certain page, could the engine check if that page is unlocked or not? Or something similar lol that makes communication. Or as u said gotta wait also?
  12. Hello! I wanted to have some enlightment on this subject. I wanted to make users that register on my site, to be registered in-game with the same info, and to enable a shop that automatically changes the server's database like items levels or even membership. I can always edit the database using Navicat or MySQL but how to do it automatically? I've seen posts similar to this but nothing that actually helped explain.Thanks :)))))

  14. Alright that could work, though can i stop the animation from playing when attacking? (The one that plays the first sprite everytime u hit) If I can do that and turn damage to 0 it basically removed the attacking. Ty
  15. Hellooo, I was thinking about changing the hole attacking system. It just doesn't fit with what I have in mind for my game. Firstly, I wanted to know if there is any way to replace the attack system with an Auto Attack system. Basically the character automatically hits the enemy until he dies, moving away would make him stop attacking. Lastly, if that can't be done yet, how do you completely remove the simple attacks? Since my game is about Magic, I'd then prefer using only spells to attack. Thanks :))))

  17. Hey guys, is it possible to add whispers/pms in-game? If it's not implemented in intersect, is there a way to maybe make a player show a custom chatbox text in the "player channel" of another player with a certain color via events or something? Anyone has any ideas? Thanks a lot!

  20. Hey guys, I noticed when attacking, it actually plays the first frame of the walking animation, how do I change or fix that so my character actually attacks lol. Thanks in advance Edit: Ive looked some posts from awhile back and it wasnt fixable?

  24. Hey how do u use a .gmp file? I get my sprites and tiles from a site that only gives .gmp files, ive seen intersect games use them but no idea how ? atm I convert them all to .png... make the background transparent and it just takes too long. thanks in advance!

RE EDIT: Oh yah cause I wanted to run it on mobile lol, like if it could run on a webpage I could just make an apk that loads the webpage, but prolly not possible
