That helped me figure out what the issue was. I did not have the stat effect duration set. I needed to set the tick duration to 1000 and the stat effect duration to 5000s

I have created a spell that does 10 damage. I check the HOT/DOT box and set the tick duration to 5000 ms but when I cast the spell it still does the 10 damage immediately. What am I missing here?

Is there a way to make it so the players will drop all of their items when they die? I saw an older forum post mentioning it is a setting in the config.json of the server but I did not see any such setting. Edit* I just found the option under each item in the item creation menu
