Honzo Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 For some reason I am not able to open the client. I can run the server just fun and the editor as well. Anyone know of why that could be happening? Β I have Windows 10 and my .net framework is up to date.
0 Honzo Posted November 4, 2019 Author Posted November 4, 2019 I reinstalled Windows 10 and that fixed it. I'm not sure what was causing the problem. Must have been some setting I had that was stopping it. But anyways thanks for the help! I appreciate it.
0 Devo Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 Can you post a screenshot of the error you getting ?
0 Honzo Posted November 3, 2019 Author Posted November 3, 2019 I don't get an error. And nothing pops up in the client log either.
0 Devo Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 Can you try to restart your computer then try opening the client again ?
0 Honzo Posted November 3, 2019 Author Posted November 3, 2019 Alright I tried that, but still nothing. Also thanks for the help.

0 Devo Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 I suggest you to update your drivers to latest version using this:Β https://www.dell.com/support/home/al/en/albsdt1/product-support/product/alienware-aurora-r5-desktop/drivers After the driver update process is done, restart your computer again and try to run Intersect Engine Client.
0 Honzo Posted November 3, 2019 Author Posted November 3, 2019 Alright I updated two drivers from that, but still nothing. Β It shows the loading symbol by my cursor. But nothing pops up in task manager, or in the client logs.
0 Devo Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 If the mouse loading animation shows but software does not run have you tried to check if it is blocked by your antivirus ?
0 Honzo Posted November 4, 2019 Author Posted November 4, 2019 I see an option for the intersect server under my virus protection/firewall. And it is allowed. But I do not see anything for the client.
0 Devo Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 Can you try disabling antivirus fully, then run the client so we can see if it is an antivirus issue or not ?
0 Honzo Posted November 4, 2019 Author Posted November 4, 2019 Just tried it, nothing . I don't understand why the editor would work but not the client. I've tried re-downloading and trying older versions.
0 Devo Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 The editor users DirectX while the Client uses Opengl (which is most likely the reason your client not running, but not sure as it should have thrown an error if it was it).
