  1. Would it be easier for me to create my game entirely from scratch, than for me to try and implement bosses here?
  2. Ohhh, I see. Because if I edit the source, it will edit all of everyone's sources as well, I can/should not code bosses directly into the source, because that would our the bosses in everyone's worlds. I would have to make a boss editor or something.
  3. I originally posted this in the wrong forum, so I'm moving it here. I've seen a couple of posts where custom coded bosses are mentioned to be in someone's game. I'm learning C# specifically so I can make custom bosses, but I don't know how I do that. I know I'll have to edit Intersect's source, but other than that, I don't know what to do or how to do it. Can anyone help? Thanks!

  6. Is the "Step Backward" command not what I thought it was? Isn't it "keep the player facing the direction he's facing and move him one space in the opposite direction"? My problem is the "Move Backward" command is acting as a "Hold Player" command.
  7. I want to make a scene where the player reacts in surprise to something by stepping backwards. I've been playing around with the "Step Backward" command, but the player always freezes as if a "Hold Player" command were given. The "Move" commands work just fine, as do the rest of the commands. It's just "Step Backward/Forward" that are not working.
  8. I'm still learning the capabilities of this engine, and I have a couple questions: Is there a way to make an boss NPC that is only attachable in a certain direction (i.e. the back), like a weak spot? Is it possible to give an NPC a rout? I saw a forum post that said a guy programmed his bosses. How can I do that? Thanks a ton for your help!
  9. I think I got it now. Thanks a lot for the help!
  10. I see where you can add custom graphics now, thanks! I mean "nice" as in out of the way. With the "show text" event, it gives a box of text in the middle of the screen, requiring you to click the "continue" button. Can I move it down near the bottom of the screen, where it doesn't block the view of the NPC, and make it so you don't have to click continue? Can I have the interact button continue the text, like in Undertale or the Zelda games?
  11. Hi, I'm VERY new to this system, so I was hoping this could help me out. I want to make a Legend of Zelda Fangame, and I think this is my best bet. I've been learning everything on my own or via YouTube, but I can't figure out how to make NPCs or Events textured to look like NPCs have a textbox similar to those in any of the games in the Zelda franchise or Undertale. I know about the "show text" and "add chatbox text" commands, but those are... let's say, a little on the ugly side. Is there a way to make "nice" NPC dialogue boxes? Thanks!
