How can i make a ship where the player and his friends can ride?

i tought maybe as an npc, that follows the player or something like that, but i'm not sure what can be a possible option

Without some fairly hefty source edits this is just not possible.

You should check on client and server side "Entities.Player" and "Networking.PacketHandler/Sender" related to them and maybe try to figure out how to change the sprite of the character
