Especially when the opponent's speed is high. It is advisable to add the selection of the nearest target with a some button. - Mouse Click Event.   8. Animation in Intersect Date Modified: 7/4/2017 Engine Used: Intersect 3.1 The following guide will show steps to create an animation in the Intersect Engine. I made this guide as a follow-up for the Quest Guide, here, so I could go into more detail for people who need help using the animation effects. The guide uses Intersect 3.1. Pre-req: You should have some basic familiarity with the Intersect Engine and how to access the Animation Editor. Requirements: You should download Intersect 3.1. You should have some sort of graphics software which supports PNG files, such as Photoshop, if you are going to make your own animations.   10. Hi guys!, I'm having this problem and I don't know how to fix it, as you can see on the gif, the skill doesn't flip. I have the skill as a Spell with the Cast Animation as the 'Big Eye Machine' and the Hit Animation as the 'Laser'. Target type: Self. I tried making the Laser as a 'Linear (Projectile)' but it doesn't look well at all because the laser doesn't match the eye machine lol. so idk what to do :/ Also the skill doesn't deal damage lol. P.S. that's not the character sprite I'm using. P.S.2 Yes I'm trying to make a side scrolling game

  13. Hello, everyone: So I'll get right to my question. I'm wondering if its possible to display the currently equipped sword and shield on the character. I added a "Rusty Sword" item using the stock Sword sprite that comes bundled with Intersect Engine and pressed E. To my surprise, if didn't display the sword on my character, and just displayed the first frame of walking animation for my currently facing direction. So I'm wondering how I would go about changing this, to somehow display the weapon I have equipped, during the attack animation. Much appreciated! I do have the source code for the engine. I ended up decompiling it for testing purposes, and if code changes are required, please share details on the best approach.
  14. Maybe this is a no brainer, but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to do this. Say you want it to create an npc that has a shop. How do you go about it? Do you apply an Event to an NPC to trigger the shop when you click/touch it? On the NPC creation section I don't see how to tie the shop event to the NPC? Or is this somehow done on the Event Section? I create an event, then attach the NPC sprite to the event? I can see you can attach an animation to the event and it can roam around, but thats not an NPC directly... Or do I create an event to trigger the shop and attach an animation of an NPC just idling there? I'm a bit confused here.
  15. Hello, When I try to make a basic animation, it always fails. I mean I would like to make an animation that stay ON the character, for exemple horizontaly at his feets. After a bunch of tries I still cannot do what I would like to. Please guys do you already have working anim, or Tools and tips to help me making one? Thanks, Nymphi
